| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui suhu yang tepat dan pengaruh pengaturan waktu pendinginan larutan nutrisi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang pada sistem aeroponik di dataran medium, 2) Mengetahui interaksi antara suhu dan waktu pendinginan larutan nutrisi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang pada sistem aeroponik di dataran medium. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di screen house di Desa Karangmangu, Kecamatan Baturaden, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli 2012 sampai Oktober 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor yang dicoba adalah kontrol (C0), suhu 150C (C1), suhu 240C (C2), waktu siang (T1), waktu malam (T2) dan waktu siang-malam (T3). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kontras ortogonal. Variabel yang diamati, meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot segar tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar, jumlah umbi, bobot umbi dan diameter umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu 240C memberikan hasil terbaik pada tinggi tanaman. Suhu 150C memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar. Pengaturan waktu pendinginan larutan nutrisi pada waktu siang-malam hari (T3) memberikan hasil yang terbaik terhadap jumlah daun, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar. Interaksi antara perlakuan suhu 240C (C2) dengan waktu pendinginan malam hari (T2) memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman. Interaksi antara perlakuan suhu 150C (C1) dengan waktu pendinginan siang-malam hari (T3) memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot segar tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar. |

Inggris) | This research is aimed to 1) know the exact temperature and the effect of nutrient solution cooling time setting on the growth and the yield of potato plant on the aeroponic system in the medium altitude; 2) know the interaction between the temperature and the nutrient solution cooling time on the growth and the yield of potato plant in an aeroponic system in medium altitude. This research was carried out at the screen house in Karangmangu village, Baturaden district, Banyumas Regency. It was held started from July 2012 until October 2012. This study used a Randomized Complete Design (RAL), which consists of 7 treatments with three times of replication. Some factors treated are control (C0), temperature of 150C (C2), temperature of 240C (C3), daytime (T1), nighttime (T2) and day-night time (T3). The data obtained were analyzed using the analysis of orthogonal contrasts. The observed variables include plant height, the number of leaves, root length, stem fresh weight, stem dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, the number of bulb, the weight of bulb and the diameter of bulb. The result showed that the temperature of 240C delivers the best results in the plant height. The temperature of 150C delivers the best result on the stem fresh weight, root fresh weight, and root dry weight. The nutrient solution cooling time setting in day-night time (T3) shows the best results on the number of leaves, stem fresh weight, root fresh weight and root dry weight. The interaction between the treatment with the temperature of 240C in the night cooling time (T2) delivers the best result on plant height. The interaction between the treatment with the temperature of 150C (C1) in day-night cooling time (T3) delivers the best result on the number of leaves, root length, stem fresh weight, stem dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight. |
