| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji : pengaruh pupuk organik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada; pengaruh penambahan batuan fosfat alam pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada serta interaksi antara dosis pupuk organik dan penambahan batuan fosfat alam pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian dilakukan di dalam screen house Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dari bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2013. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan. Faktor yang dicoba pada penelitian, terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu dosis pupuk organik (kompos) dan penambahan batuan fosfat alam. Dosis pupuk kompos terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu 0, 40, 80 dan 120 g/ tanaman sedangkan penambahan batuan fosfat alam terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu 0, 5,2 dan 8,1 g/ tanaman. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, volume akar, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar tajuk, dan bobot kering tajuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dosis pupuk kompos nyata pada variabel jumlah daun tetapi tidak nyata pada variabel lainnya. Jumlah daun terbanyak dihasilkan pada dosis 120 g/ tanaman. Penambahan takaran batuan fosfat berpengaruh nyata pada variabel tinggi tanaman tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada variabel lainnya. Tinggi tanaman terbaik dihasilkan pada penambahan 5,2 g/ tanaman. Tidak ada interaksi antara dosis pupuk organik dengan penambahan batuan fosfat alam.

Inggris) | This research aims were to study : the effect of organic fertilizer on growth and yield of lettuce; the effect of natural rock phosphate on growth and yield of lettuce as well as the interaction between organic fertilizer and the addition of natural rock phosphate on growth and yield of lettuce. The study was conducted in the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto from March to June 2013. The design used was a factorial Randomized Block Design Complete with three replications. Factors that tried to study, consists of two factors : the dose of organic fertilizer ( compost ) and the addition of natural rock phosphate. Dose of compost consists of four levels, namely 0, 40, 80 and 120 g/ plant, while the addition of natural rock phosphate consists of three levels, namely 0, 5.2 and 8.1 g/ plant. Variables observed were plant height, leaf number, root volume, root fresh weight, root dry weight, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, fresh weight of the shoot, and shoot dry weight. The results showed that doses of compost fertilizer increases number of leaves but not significantly affect on other variables. Highest number of leaves produced at a dose of 120 g/ plant. The addition of natural rock phosphate affect plant height but had no significant effect on other variables. Best plant height resulted on the addition of 5.2 g/ plant. There is no interaction between the organic fertilizer with the addition doses of natural rock phosphate.
