Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan formulasi bakteri antagonis Pseudomonas fluorescens P19 dan P20, serta Bacillus sp. B2 dan B4 dalam mengendalikan penyakit hawar daun, pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman, dan kemampuannya dalam mengimbas ketahanan tanaman terhadap jamur Phytophthora infestans di lapangan endemis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan pertanaman kentang di Desa Kejajar, Kecamatan Kejajar, Kabupaten Wonosobo dan Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Unsoed Purwokerto, dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni sampai September 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi: kontrol, P. fluorescens P19, P. fluorescens P20, Bacillus sp. B2, Bacillus sp. B4, dan pestisida. Variabel yang diamati adalah intesitas penyakit, laju infeksi, kepadatan akhir antagonis, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar dan kering tanaman, bobot segar dan kering akar, jumlah umbi, bobot umbi, dan kandungan senyawa fenol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian formulasi bakteri antagonis belum mampu mengendalikan penyakit hawar daun, meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman, serta mengimbas ketahanan tanaman terhadap jamur Phytophthora infestans di lapangan endemis.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Research was aimed at knowing the ability of antagonistic bacteria formulation of Pseudomonas fluorescens P19 and P20, and Bacillus sp. B2 and B4 to control the diseases in the endemic field, the effect of the formulation on the growth and yield of potato in the endemic field, and the ability of the antagonistic bacteria to induce potato resistance on the fungus. The research was conducted in the potato field at Kejajar Village, Kejajar Subdistrict, Wonosobo Regency and at the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, from June to September 2013. Randomized Block Design was used with six treatments and four replicates. The treatments tested consisted of control, Pseudomonas fluorescens P19, Pseudomonas fluorescens P20, Bacillus sp. B2, Bacillus sp. B4, and pesticide. Variables observed were disease intensity, infection rate, late antagonist population density, crop height, number of leaves, fresh and dry weight of the crops, fresh and dry weight of roots, number of tubers, tuber weight, and phenolic compounds content Results of the research showed that the applied antagonist formulation could not control the diseases on potato, increase growth and yield, and induce resistance to the diseases on potato in the field.
