Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung daun waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) dalam ransum sapi lokal berbasis jerami padi amoniasi terhadap kecernaan neutral detergent fiber dan kecernaan acid detergent fiber secara in vivo. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental in vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), materi penelitian adalah 18 ekor sapi lokal jantan dengan berat antara 199,5-251 kg dan memiliki Koefisien Keragaman (KK) adalah 6,39. Perlakuan berupa taraf penambahan daun waru. A : Ransum basal + tepung daun waru 0 % dari berat konsentrat, B : Ransum basal + tepung daun waru 0,24 % dari berat konsentrat, C : Ransum basal + tepung daun waru 0,48 % dari berat konsentrat. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak enam kali. Data di analisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut orthogonal polynomial. Hasil rataan kecernaan NDF masing-masing perlakuan A, B dan C berturut-turut adalah 65,52 ± 2,77 %, 68,14 ± 3,21 % dan 70,88 ± 2,82 %. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kecernaan Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF). Uji lanjut terhadap kecernaan NDF memberikan respon linear dengan persamaan Y= 65,50+ 11,17 X dengan nilai r2= 0,40. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) dengan taraf 0,48 % dari berat konsentrat dapat meningkatkan kecernaan Neutral Detergent Fiber tetapi tidak mempengaruhi kecernaan Acid Detergent Fiber pada sapi potong lokal yang diberi ransum berbasis jerami padi amoniasi secara In vivo. |

Inggris) | This research was aimed to determine the effect Hibiscus tiliaceus meal in local cattle rations based on amoniated rice straw on the digestibility of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) by in vivo .This research was perfomed by in vivo experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD). Material were 18 local cattles strain PO (Peranakan Ongol) and three diets i.e. A : basal diet + 0% of hibiscus leaf meal (% DM of concentrate); B : basal diet + 0.24% of hibiscus leaf meal; C : basal diet + 0.48% of hibiscus leaf. The treatment was repeated six times. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and was followed by Orthogonal Polynomial test. The average values of NDF digestibility of each treatment (A , B and C) were 65.52 ± 2.77% , 68.14 ± 3.21 % and 70.88 ± 2.82%. The results showed that the addition of hibiscus leaf meal significantly (P < 0.05) affected the digestibility of NDF, and have no significantly (P>0,05) to the digestibility of ADF. Orthogonal Polynomial test gave quadratic response with an equation Y= 65.50+ 11.17 X with R2 value = 0.40 for NDF digestibility. Based on these results, it can be conclude that the addition of Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal with a level of 0.48 % by weight of the concentrate improve the digestibility of NDF but the ADF digestibility have no affect by the leaf meal addition. |
