Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pemberian pupuk kandang dan intensitas pemberian air terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah di lahan pasir pantai selatan pulau jawa, dan mengetahui interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang dan intensitas pemberian air terhadap hasil bawang merah di lahan pasir pantai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Banjarsari, Kecamatan Nusawungu, Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan perlakuan: (i) dosis pupuk kandang (0 ton/ha, 30 ton/ha dan 60 ton/ha) dan (ii) intensitas penyiraman (satu kali sehari, dua kali sehari, dan tiga kali sehari). Pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hubungan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: (i) pemberian dosis pupuk kandang 30 ton/ha menghasilkan bobot umbi 13,85 ton/ha, dan (ii) intensitas pemberian air 2 kali sehari menghasilkan bobot umbi 14,62 ton/ha, dan (iii) interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang 30 ton/ha dan intensitas pemberian air 2 kali sehari menghasilkan rata-rata bobot umbi kering 17,88 ton/ha.

Inggris)This study was aimed to determine the dose of manure application and watering intensity on the growth and yield of shallot on the sandy land of south coast of Java, and the interaction between dose intensity of manure and watering intensity to the shallot in the land of sand beach. The experiment was conducted in the of Banjarsari village, Nusawungu Subdistrict, Cilacap District. Research was employed of RCBD with treatments application of: (i) a dose of manure (0 t / ha, 30 t / ha and 60 t / ha),and (ii) the intensity of watering (once a day, twice a day, and three times a day), and the data were analyzed using F test and continued by (DMRT) at 5% level. Relationships between variables were analyzed using regression analysis. The research result were: (i) the best dose of manure application was 30 t/ha wich resulted of tubers equal to 13,85 t/ha, (ii) watering intensity twice hier day was the best which resulted of tubers egual to 14,62 t/ha, and (iii) the best interaction that of manure aplicationt 30 t/ha and watering intensity twice times a day that was resulted the highest tubers 17,88 t/ha.
