| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Material Fe3O4 dan modifikasi permukaan material Fe3O4 dengan asam oleat telah berhasil dilakukan dengan metode kopresipitasi. Karakteristik hasil XRD material modifikasi Fe3O4 dengan adanya asam oleat mampu memperkecil ukuran partikel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya adsorpsi Fe3O4 yang telah dimodifikasi dengan asam oleat terhadap rodamin B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi permukaan ini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan daya adsorpsi terhadap rodamin B dengan kapasitas maksimum 83,33 mg/g dan pola adsorpsi yang sesuai yaitu isoterm Langmuir.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Fe3O4 material and its surface modification with oleic acid had been successfully carried out by coprecipitation method. Characteristic observed through XRD of the Fe3O4 material modification in the presence of oleic acid was capable of reducing particle size. This research aimed to determine the adsorption of Fe3O4, which had been modified with oleic acid, on rhodamine B. The results showed that the surface modification could improve the adsorption ability on rhodamine B with a maximum capacity of 83.33 mg/g and an appropriate adsorption pattern, namely, the Langmuir isotherm. |
