Judul ArtikelPENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AZOLLA MICROPHYLLA DENGAN LEMNA POLYRRHIZA DALAM PAKAN ITIK PEKING PADA LEVEL PROTEIN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP BOBOT DAN PERSENTASE BAGIAN NON KARKAS
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian telah dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 16 Februari sampai dengan 14 April 2013 di kandang J, Experimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji interaksi taraf protein dengan penggunaan Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza terhadap bobot dan persentase bagian non karkas itik Peking sampai umur 8 minggu. Selain itu untuk mengetahui level optimal penggunaan protein dan kombinasi Azolla miycrophylla dan Lemna Polyrrhiza berdasarkan bobot dan persentase bagian non karkas itik Peking sampai umur 8 minggu. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental secara in vivo. Materi penelitian adalah itik Peking unsexed dan pakan perlakuan menggunakan Kombinasi Azolla Microphylla dengan Lemna Polyrrhiza. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola faktorial 3x4. Faktor pertama yang diamati adalah level protein pakan yaitu p1=protein pakan 16%, p2=protein pakan 18%, dan p3=protein pakan 20%. Faktor kedua adalah kombinasi Azolla mycrophylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza yaitu al0=tanpa kombinasi Azolla mycrophylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza, al1=15% Azolla mycrophylla dan 5% Lemna polyrrhiza, al2 =10% Azolla mycrophylla dan 10% Lemna polyrrhiza, al3=5% Azolla mycrophylla dan 15% Lemna polyrrhiza. Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa interaksi penggunaan Azolla Microphylla dan Lemna Polyrrhiza dengan level protein yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase edible non karkas itik Peking sampai umur 8 minggu. Penggunaan Azolla Microphylla dan Lemna Polyrrhiza dengan level protein yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) pada bobot dan persentase non edible non karkas itik Peking umur 8 minggu. Rataan bobot edible non karkas yang diperoleh 221,52±24,39 gram berkisar antara 198,53-245,53 gram. Rataan persentase edible non karkas 14,31±1,35% berkisaran 13,69%-15,09%. Rataan bobot non edible non karkas 374,02±24,96 gram berkisar antara 349,55-397,63 gram. Rataan persentase non edible non karkas 24,23±2,08% berkisaran 22,20%-26,77%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi penggunaan Azolla Microphylla dan Lemna Polyrrhiza dengan level protein yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase edible non karkas serta bobot dan persentase non edible non karkas itik Peking umur 8 minggu. Artinya pakan dengan penggunaan Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza pada level protein yang berbeda menghasilkan bobot dan persentase non karkas itik Peking pada umur 8 minggu yang relatif sama.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The research was conducted from February 16th to April 14th 2013, in the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Sudirman University. The research was aimed to assess the extent of interaction of proteins with the use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza on non carcass weight and parts of non carcass percentages. In addition, it was conducted to determine the optimum level of protein and combination use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna Polyrrhiza to non-carcass weight and parts of non carcass percentages of Peking Duck at Age 8 Weeks. The research method was experimental by in-vivo. The research materials were unsexed Peking ducks and treatment feed using the combination of Azolla microphylla and Lemna Polyrrhiza. The research used a completely randomized design (CRD), factorial model of 3x4. The first factor was the level of feed protein: p1 = 16%, p2 = 18%, and p3 = 20%. The second factor was a combination of Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza: al0 = no combination of Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza, al1 = 15% Azolla microphylla and 5% Lemna polyrrhiza, al2 = 10% Azolla microphylla and 10% Lemna polyrrhiza, al3 = 5% Azolla microphylla and 15% Lemna polyrrhiza. There were 12 combinations of treatment with 3 replications. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance. The results of analysis of variance showed that the interaction of the use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna Polyrrhiza with different protein levels was not significant (P> 0.05) on weight and percentage of edible non carcass of Peking duck until the age of 8 weeks. The use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna Polyrrhiza with different protein levels was not significant (P> 0.05) on weight and percentage of non-edible non-carcass of Peking duck until the age of 8 weeks. The average weight of edible non-carcass was 221.52 ± 24.39 grams ranged from 198.53 to 245.53 grams. The mean percentage of edible non-carcass was 14.31 ± 1.35% ranged from 13.69% to 15.09%. The average weight of non-edible non-carcass was 374.02 ± 24.96 grams, ranged from 349.55 to 397.63 grams. The mean percentage of non-edible non-carcass was 24.23 ± 2.08% ranged from 22.20% to 26.77%. The results showed that the interaction of the use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna Polyrrhiza with different protein levels was not significant (P> 0.05) on the weight and percentage of edible non-carcass and weight and percentage of non-edible non-carcass of Peking duck until the age of 8 weeks. It meant that feed containing Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza at different levels of protein yielded weight and percentage of non-carcass of Peking duck at the age of 8 weeks of relatively similar.
