| Judul Artikel | THE EFFECT OF CO-WORKER AND SUPERVISOR SUPPORT ON ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND THE IMPACT ON EMPLOYEES JOB PERFORMANCE IN HORISON HOTEL PURWOKERTO |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | The aims of research are to analyze the effect of co-worker and supervisor support on employees’ affective, normative and continuance commitment, and so to analyze the effect of affective, normative and continuance commitment on employees’ job performance of Horison Hotel in Purwokerto. The research is conducted at Horison Hotel at Jl. Dr. Angka No. 71, Purwokerto 53115. The method of research is survey with sampling technique uses probability sampling by simple random sampling and then the technique data analysis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. Based on the result of Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, it has got the t statistic value of co-worker support on affective commitment, the tstatistic value of supervisor support on affective and normative commitment, the tstatistic value of affective, normative and continuance commitment on employees’ job performance each is greater than the value of t table, while the t statistic value of supervisor support on continuance commitment is smaller than the value of t table, and the t statistic value of co-worker support on normative and continuance commitment each is greater than the value of -t table Therefore, the first, fourth, fifth, seventh, eight and ninth hypotheses can be accepted, while the second, third and sixth hypotheses are rejected. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that co-worker support has positive and significant effect on affective commitment, co-worker support has negative and no significant effect on normative and continuance commitment, supervisor support has positive and significant effect on affective and normative commitment, supervisor support has positive but no significant effect on continuance commitment, and then affective normative and continuance commitment has positive and significant effect on employee job performance of Horison Hotel in Purwokerto. |
