| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah proses manajemen komunikasi reporter perempuan di medan konflik serta posisi reporter perempuan. Informan dipilih dengan cara snowball sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah manajamen komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh reporter perempuan, mencakup seluruh bagian model boneka Matrioscha yang dipopulerkan oleh Michael Kaye. Mulai dari self, yakni proses awal berpikir berdasarkan pengetahuan terhadap lingkungan medan konflik; interpersonal, yakni proses interaksi dirinya dengan masyarakat medan konflik; system, yakni proses pengolahan kesan lingkungan medan konflik; hingga competence, yakni hasil akhir dari keseluruhan proses interaksi antara reporter dan medan konflik. Di luar itu, para reporter perempuan mengalami ketidakadilan gender saat bertugas di medan konflik atau di kantor media mereka. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The focus of this research is the process of communication management in the field of conflict by female reporters and the position of female reporters. Informants were selected by snowball sampling. Data is collected through interviews and documentations. The results of this study are communications mangement is made by the female reporter, covering all parts of the Matrioscha doll model popularized by Michael Kaye. Starting from the self, is beginning the process of thinking based on knowledge of the environment field of conflict; interpersonal, is the process of interaction with people in the field of conflict itself; system, is image processing environment which conflict zone; until competence, is the outcome of the whole process of interaction between the reporter and the field of conflict. Beyond that, the female reporters have inequality gender experience while serving in conflict areas or in their media office. |
