| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perkebunan teh Kaligua merupakan daerah dataran tinggi yang terletak di Kaligua, Brebes-Jawa Tengah. Perkebunan yang mempunyai luas total 490 Ha ini membudidayakan tanaman teh diantaranya klon Tri 2024, Cin 143, Gambung dan Kiara 8. Budidaya tanaman teh tidak terlepas dari gangguan berbagai macam hama sehingga menurunkan produksi. Salah satu hama yang menyerang tanaman teh adalah tungau Brevipalpus phoenicis. Besarnya kerapatan relatif tungau B. phoenicis akan mempengaruhi kerapatan relatif familia Phytoseiidae yang merupakan familia tungau predatornya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui spesies tungau predator familia Phytoseiidae yang ditemukan pada tanaman teh serta menghitung kerapatan relatif tungau hama (B. phoenicis) dan tungau predator familia Phytoseiidae pada beberapa klon di perkebunan teh di PT PN IX Kaligua Brebes Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara sistematis. Penentuan titik pengambilan sampel pada lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode diagonal. Sampel berupa daun teh yang diambil sebanyak 5 tangkai daun dari tiap titik pengambilan sampel. Pengambilan sampel diulang sebanyak 4 kali, dengan interval waktu 1 minggu. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah tungau hama dan tungau predator serta spesies tungau predator familia Phytoseiidae. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi model I pada tingkat kesalahan 20% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan pada tingkat kesalahan yang sama. Hasil penelitian yaitu spesies tungau predator dari familia Phytoseiidae yaitu Amblyseius sp., Phytoseius sp. dan Phytoseiulus sp. Kerapatan relatif B. phoenicis pada klon Gambung lebih rendah dibandingkan klon Cin 143, Tri 2024 dan Kiara 8, sedangkan kerapatan relatif tungau predator familia Phytoseiidae (Amblyseius sp., Phytoseius sp. dan Phytoseiulus sp.) pada klon Gambung lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada klon lainnya. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Kaligua tea plantation is a plateau region located in Kaligua, Brebes Central Java. The plantation has a total area of 490 ha is cultivated tea plants including Tri 2024 clones, Cin 143, Gambung and Kiara 8. Tea cultivation is inseparable from a wide range of pests interference resulting in lower production. One of the pests that attack tea crops are mite Brevipalpus phoenicis. The magnitude of the relative density of mites B. phoenicis will affect the relative density family Phytoseiidae which is mite predators family. The purpose of this research is determine the predatory mite species of family Phytoseiidae found in tea plants and calculate the relative density of pest mites (B.phoenicis) and predatory mites of family Phytoseiidae in some clones in tea plantations in PT PN IX Kaligua Brebes Central Java. The method used in this research is a survey method with systematic sampling technique. Determination of sampling points in the research site using the diagonal method. Samples taken in the form of tea leaf petiole as much as 5 of each sampling point. Sampling was repeated 4 times, with a time interval of 1 week. The parameters measured were the number of pest mites and predatory mites and species predatory mite family Phytoseiidae. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance model I at error rate of 20%, continued by Duncan's test at the same error rate. The results of the predatory mite species family Phytoseiidae is Amblyseius sp., Phytoseius sp. and Phytoseiulus sp. Relative density B. phoenicis on Gambung clone lower than clone Cin143, Tri 2024 and Kiara 8, while the relative density of family Phytoseiidae predatory mites (Amblyseius sp., Phytoseius sp., and Phytoseiulus sp.) in Gambung clones higher than in the other clone. |
