| Judul Artikel | AKTIVITAS DAUN JARAK PAGAR (Jatropha curcas) TERHADAP SKOR ARTRITIS DAN GAMBARAN HISTOPATOLOGI PANUS SENDI TIKUS YANG TERINDUKSI COMPLETE FREUND ADJUVANT |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Jarak pagar merupakan salah satu tanaman herbal indonesia yang telah terbukti sebagai antioksidan dan antiinflamasi. Rheumatoid Artritis merupakan penyakit inflamasi kronik yang menyerang persendian menyebabkan terhambatnya aktivitas dan mobilitas penderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antiartritis ekstrak etanol daun jarak pagar pada tikus terinduksi Complete Freund Adjuvant(CFA). Sebanyak 40 tikus dibagi dalam 5 kelompok (n=8) dan diberi minum standar ad libitum. Kelompok I (kelompok kontrol normal): tanpa perlakuan. Kelompok II (kelompok kontrol negatif), diinduksi Complete Freund’s Adjuvant (CFA) 0,1 ml, dibiarkan selama 30 hari. Kelompok III, IV, dan V diinduksi CFA 0,1 ml, dan diberi ekstrak etanol daun jarak pagar masing-masing dengan dosis 150mg/kgBB po, 300mg/kgBB po, dan 600mg/kgBB po. Induksi CFA dilakukan pada hari ke-1 dan hari ke-5, lalu didiamkan sampai hari ke-13 sedangkan pemberian sediaan uji diberikan pada hari ke-14 sampai hari ke-28. Aktivitas antiartritis dilakukan melalui pengamatan Skor Atritis dilakukan pada hari ke-0, 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 dan ke-28, sedangkan pengamatan histologi panus sendi diamati pada hari ke-29. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun J. Curcas aktivitas antiartritis terhadap artritis dan panus sendi pada tikus yang diinduksi complete freud’s adjuvant (CFA) berdasarkan pengamatan skoring artritis dan pengamatan histopatologi panus sendi. Dosis yang paling baik menurunkan artritis adalah ekstrak etanol daun jarak pagar dosis 150mg/kgBB karena mampu menurunkan skor artritis dan gambaran histopatologi yang paling baik yaitu menurunkan inflamasi, pengurangan edema rongga sendi dan perbaikan kartilago. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Jatropha is one of Indonesian herbal plants which have been proven as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a disease that attacks the joints causing delays patient activity and mobility. The aims of this study is to determine the activity of the ethanol extract of leaves antiartritis jatropha in rats induced by Complete Freund's Adjuvant (CFA). This study used rats were divided into 5 groups (n = 8) and given a standard drink ad libitum. Group I (normal control group), no treatment. Group II (negative control group), which induced CFA 0.1 ml, were left for 30 days. Group III, IV, and V which induced CFA 0.1 ml, given the ethanol extract of leaves of Jatropha each with dose 150mg/kgBB po,300mg/kgBB po, and 600mg/kgBB po. Induction CFA performed on 1st day and 5th, and then were left until 13th day while administration extract dosage was given on 14th until 28th day. The activities of Antiartritis conducted through observation arthritis score performed on days 0, 1st, 4rd, 8th, 12th, 16th, 20th, 24th and 28th, while, the observations of histological panus joints were observed on 29th day. Result of the study show the extract of leaves of J. Curcas has antiartritis activity against arthritis and joint panus in rats induced complete Freud's adjuvant (CFA) based on the observation scoring panus arthritis and joint histopathology observations. The best dose is decrease arthritis ethanol extract of leaves of Jatropha 150mg/kgBB dose because it can reduce arthritis score and histopathological best picture that reduce inflammation, edema reduction cavity joints and cartilago repair. |
