| Judul Artikel | The effect of firm size, external financing, managerial skills and educational background on business success |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | The objectives of the research is to know the effect of firm size, external financing, managerial skills and educational background on business success. Furthermore, control variables such as business age are used to avoid the bias result. After an examination of 50 respondents by means of multiple linear regression method, this research found that t-statistic value is larger than t-table value (1.677) and significant value is less than α (0.05). Thus indicates that there are significant effect of firm size, external financing, managerial skills and educational background on business success. Viewed from control variables effect, business age have not significant effect on business success.Therefore, business age is not give effect on the research model. The findings show that firm size, external financing, managerual skills and educational background have positive significant effect onbusiness success, without consider the business age. Managerial skills has dominant effect on business success. In addition the findings suggest that company have to pay more attention to firm size, external financing, managerial skills and educational background since these factors could increase the business success. |
