| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh sistem dan lokasi pemeliharaan yang berbeda ditinjau dari bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir. Materi yang digunakan adalah itik Mojosari betina afkir sebanyak 47 ekor. Metode penelitian adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan General Linear Model (GLM). Jumlah perlakuan empat dengan ulangan yang berbeda-beda (unequal). Peubah yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah bobot daging dan persentase daging. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dan lokasi pemeliharaan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap bobot dan persentase daging. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dan lokasi pemeliharaan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap bobot dan persentase daging itik Mojosari afkir. Uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) menunjukkan bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir P2 berbeda sangat nyata dengan P4 (P<0,01), bobot daging dalam karkas itik mojosari afkir P2 berbeda nyata dengan P3 (P<0,05), sedangkan persentase bobot daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir P2 tidak berbeda nyata dengan P3 (P>0,05). Bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir P1 tidak berbeda nyata dengan P3 dan P4 (P>0,05). Bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir P3 tidak berbeda nyata dengan P4 (P>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa bobot dan persentase daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari yang dipelihara secara terkurung dan dilokasi pesisir lebih tinggi dibandingkan itik Mojosari yang dipelihara secara gembala di lokasi pesisir (P2>P4). Bobot daging dalam karkas itik Mojosari afkir yan dipelihara secara terkurung di lokasi pesisir lebih tinggi dibandingkan itik Mojosari yang dipelihara secara gembala di lokasi pertanian(P2>P3).

Inggris) | The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of the different systems of maintenance and locations in terms of weight and percentage of meat in the carcasses of culled Mojosari ducks. The materials used were culled Mojosari female ducks of age 1,5 years as many as 47 heads. The research method used was survey method using the General Linear Model (GLM). The numbers of treatments were four with different replications (un equal). The variables measured in this study were the percentage and weight of meat. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance and followed with honestly significant difference test (HSD). The results showed that the maintenance of the system and the location highly significantly (P<0,01) affected the weight and the percentage of Mojosari duck meat. Further test results of Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) showed, the weight and the percentage of meat in the carcass culled Mojosari ducks of P2 was significantly different (P<0,01) to P4, the weight of Mojosari ducks meat in carcass of P2 was significantly different (P>0,05) to P3, while the percentage of meat in the carcass of culled Mojosari ducks of P2 was not different (P>0,05) with P3. The weight and percentage of meat in culled Mojosari ducks of P1 did not differ markedly to P3 and P4 (P>0,05). The weight of meat in culled Mojosari ducks of P3 did not differ markedly to P4 (P>0,05). It can be concluded that the weight and percentage of meat in the carcass of culled Mojosari ducks reared in cages on coastal locations is higher than the culled Mojosari ducks that are reared as shepherds nomaden in coastal locations (P2>P4). The weight of meat in the carcass of culled Mojosari duck reared in cages on coastal locations washigher than that of the culled Mojosari ducks that are reared as shepherds on agricultural locations (P2>P3). |
