| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang pada tanggal 2 April sampai dengan 21 April 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkar skrotum dengan volume semen, lingkar skrotum dengan konsentrasi spermatozoa dan lingkar skrotum dengan motilitas spermatozoa pada sapi Limousin dan Simmental. Materi yang digunakan adalah lingkar skrotum dari 25 ekor pejantan. Analisis korelasi dan regresi digunakan untuk olah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara lingkar skrotum dengan volume semen diperoleh Y = 4,87 + 0,04 X dan r = 0,11 dengan r2 = 0,013, lingkar skrotum dengan konsentrasi spermatozoa Y = 221,55 + 24,04 dan r = 0,36 dengan r2 = 0,127 , lingkar skrotum dengan motilitas spermatozoa Y = 50,71 + 0,47 dan r = 0,34 dengan r2 = 0,115. Disimpulkan bahwa ukuran lingkar skrotum tidak berpengaruh nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap volume semen, konsentrasi dan motilitas spermatozoa. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research was conducted at Central of Artificial Insemination in Lembang, from April 2, 2013 to 21 April 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between scrotal circumference and semen volume, scrotal circumference and sperm concentration, and scrotal circumference and motility of spermatozoa of Limousin and Simmental bulls. The material used was a scrotal circumference of 25 bulls. Correlation and regression analysis was used to process the data.Results showed that the relationship between scrotal circumference and semen volume: Y = 4,87 + 0,04 X and r = 0,11 with r2 = 0,013; scrotal circumference with spermatozoa concentration: Y = 221,55 + 24,04 and r = 0,36 with r2 = 0,127; scrotal circumference with motility spermatoza: Y = 50,71 + 0,47 and r = 0,34 with r2 = 0,115. It can be concluded that scrotal circumference had not a significant effect (P > 0.05) on semen volume, sperm concentration and sperm motility. |
