| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Maret sampai dengan tanggal 20 April 2013 di Kabupaten Ciamis, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui analisis ekonomi ayam Sentul di Kabupaten Ciamis Pendapatan, Efisiensi Ekonomi dan Break Even Point. 2) Mengetahui jumlah kepemilikan, biaya pakan, lama beternak, jumlah anggota keluarga peternak, pendidikan peternak dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan ternak ayam Sentul di Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Sasaran penelitian adalah peternak ayam Sentul di Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Pengambilan sampel wilayah menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan metode pengambilan sampel responden menggunakan metode sensus. Berdasarkan jumlah populasi ayam Sentul dari setiap kecamatan diambil beberapa peternak berdasarkan jumlah populasi yang ada dikecamatan tersebut. Variabel yang diamati antara lain variabel dependent (pendapatan, efisiensi ekonomi dan Break Even Point) dan variabelindependent (jumlah kepemilikan, biaya pakan, lama beternak, jumlah angggota keluarga peternak, pendidikan peternak dan tenaga kerja).Hasil perhitungan analisis ekonomi usaha ayam Sentul di Kabupaten Ciamis rataan pendapatan sebesar Rp 42.726.125,- sedangkan rataan efisiensi ekonomi sebesar 1,63 dan rataan Break Event Point dalam produk sebesar 2.844 (ekor) dan BEP dalam rupiah Rp 10.511.491,- yang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pendapatan adalah jumlah kepemilikan ternak dengan P value 0.0037 (P<0.01), yang berpengaruh nyata biaya pakan dengan P value 0.025 (P<0.05) dan tenaga kerja P value 0.037 (P<0.05). yang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap efisiensi ekonomi adalah jumlah anggota keluarga dengan P value 0.0033 (P<0.01). sedangkan yang berpengruh nyata terhadap BEP adalah jumlah kepemilikan P value 0.0006 (P<0.01) dan lama beternak P value 0.025 (P<0.05). Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ayam Sentul layak dijalankan agar dapat berkembang dimasa akan datang dan memberikan pendapatan terhadap peternakdengan tingkat signifikan 99 persen.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This reseach was conducted from March 20th until April 20th, district in Ciamis 2013 in the province of West Java. The purpose of this study was 1) To know performance of economic of analysis Sentul chicken business (income, efficiency economic, and Break Even Point). 2) To know the influence of socio-economic factors (number of chicken, cost of feed, farming period, number of family, farming education and cost of labor) to labor income Sentul chicken farmers business in the district of Ciamis. The study was conducted by survey method. The research targets were a farmer Sentul chicken in Ciamis district, West Java. The sampling area used purposive sampling method and the respondents were selected using census method. Based on the total population, of Sentul chicken of each district taken from some farmers based on the amount of the existing population in each, sub-districts. Other variables were observed between the dependent variables (income, economic efficiency and Break Even Point) and independent variables (number of chicken, cost of feed, farming period, number of family, farming education and cost of labor). The results of calculation of the economic analysis showed that economic business District in Ciamis chicken Sentul average of revenue of Rp 42,726,125, - while the average economic efficiency of 1.63 and average of Break Event Point in the products of 16 509 (tail) and BEP in rupiah Rp 30,314,728,- the performance that was very significant is effect very revenue the amount of number of chicken with P value of 0.0037 (P <0.01) of, the significant effect of feed costs with P value of 0.025 (P <0.05), and cost of labor, P value of 0.037 (P <0:05). the very significant effect on economic efficiency was the number of family members with a P value of 0.0033 (P <0.01), and the significant effect on BEP was the number of chicken P value of 0.0006 (P <0.01), and farming period with P value of 0.025 (P <0.05). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Sentul chicken business is warth to be done order to develop in the future and provides income to the farmers. With a rate of 99 percent signifikan.
