| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK ORGANIK TERHADAP HASIL DAN RENDEMEN PATI GARUT (Maranta arundinacea L.) YANG DIPANEN PADA UMUR BERBEDA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk : 1) Mengetahui dosis pupuk organik yang tepat untuk mendapatkan hasil umbi dan rendemen pati garut tertinggi yang dipanen pada umur berbeda, 2) Mengetahui dosis pupuk organik yang tepat untuk mendapatkan hasil umbi garut tertinggi, dan 3) Mengetahui umur panen yang tepat untuk mendapatkan rendemen pati yang tertinggi. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan Dinas Perkebunan Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas dan dilaksanakan mulai April 2012 sampai Februari 2013. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk organik dengan 5 taraf meliputi 0; 5; 10; 15; 20 ton/ha, dan faktor kedua adalah umur panen dengan 3 taraf meliputi 7; 8; 9 bulan setelah tanam. Variabel pertumbuhan yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, indeks luas daun, lebar bukaan stomata, kehijauan daun dan bobot kering brangkasan. Sedangkan variabel hasil yang diamati adalah bobot umbi per hektar, bobot umbi per rimpang/tanaman, dan rendemen pati. Data dianalisis dengan uji F dan apabila ada perbedaan yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis pupuk organik dengan tanpa perlakuan yang dipanen pada umur 9 bulan mampu memberikan hasil bobot umbi per hektar dan bobot umbi per tanaman tertinggi dengan bobot masing-masing 6577,77 kg dan 112,92 gram. Sedangkan rendemen pati tertinggi didapat pada dosis pupuk organik 5 ton/ha yang dipanen pada umur 9 bulan dengan hasil rendemen pati sebesar 7,55%. Pemberian dosis pupuk organik sebesar 15 ton/ha mampu memberikan hasil rerata bobot umbi per hektar tertinggi yaitu 4414,81 kg dan umur panen garut 9 bulan mampu memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap rerata bobot umbi per hektar sebesar 4623,70 kg, bobot umbi per tanaman sebesar 86,01 gram, dan rendemen pati garut sebesar 6,31%. |

Inggris) | This study aims to: 1) determine the proper dose of organic fertilizer to get the highest yield of arrowroot tubers and starch that harvested at different age, 2) determine the proper dose of organic fertilizer to get the highest arrowroot yield, and 3) determine appropriate harvest time to get the highest arrowroot starch. The research was conducted in the department of land estates of Limpakuwus, Sumbang Dictrict, Banyumas Regency and conducted from April 2012 till February 2013. The design used was a randomized block design with two factors and three replications. Ther first factor is the dosage of organic fertilizer (0; 5; 10; 15; 20 tons/ha) and the second factor is the harvesting time (7, 8, 9 months after planting). Growth variabel were observed in this research were plant height, number of tillers, leaf area index, stomata aperture wide, greenish leaves, and dry weight of stover. While the yield variabel is the tuber weight ha-1, tuber weight plant-1, and the yield of arrowroot starch. Data was analyzied by F test and continued to LSD test with 95% trust. The result showed that the organic fertilizer with no treatment that harvested at the age of 9 months after planting gave the highest yield of tuber weight ha-1 and tuber weight plant-1 with each weight is 6.577,77 kg and 112,92 grams. While the highest starch yield is 7,55% obtained at a dose of organic fertilizer 5 tons/ha and 9 months harvesting. Organic fertilizer dose at 15 tons/ha provides the highest average yield of tuber weight ha-1 with 4.418,41 kg and 9 months harvesting provides the highest average yield of tuber weight ha-1 with 4.623,70 kg, tuber weight plant-1 with 86,01 grams, and arrowroot starch with 6,31%. |
