| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul Fermentasi Kulit Buah Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) Menggunakan Aspergillus niger Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kadar VFA Dan N-NH3 Secara In-Vitro yang dilaksanakan pada 1 Januari sampai 26 April 2013. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kulit buah kakao, cairan rumen sapi potong, Aspergillus niger, urea, dan mineral mix. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan yaitu K0 = Kulit buah kakao tanpa terfermentasi Aspesgillus niger, K1 = Kulit buah kakao terfermentasi Aspesgillus niger 1%, K2 = Kulit buah kakao terfermentasi Aspesgillus niger 2%, dan K3 = Kulit buah kakao terfermentasi Aspesgillus niger 3%. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Orthogonal Polinomial. Konsentrasi VFA yaitu K0 77,8 ± 45,49 mM, K1 83,6 ± 23,85 mM, K2 83,6 ± 22,78 mM, K3 87,2 ± 49,20 mM dan konsentrasi N-NH3 yaitu K0 2,04 ± 0,54 mM, K1 3,12 ± 0,27 mM, K2 3,6 ± 0,57 mM, K3 4,92 ± 1,31 mM. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar VFA (P>0,05) dan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap N-NH3 (P>0,01) secara linier. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah semakin tinggi level Aspergillus niger yang digunakan maka kadar VFA dan N-NH3 semakin tinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | A research entitled Cocoa Pods (Theobroma Cacao L.) Fermentation Using Aspergillus niger,its Effect on The VFA Level and N-NH3 In Vitro was conducted from 1st January to 26th April 2013. The materials of the research were cocoa pods, rumen fluid of beef cattle, Aspergillus niger, urea and mineral mix. The research method was experimental using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replicaties were K0 = cocoa pods without fermentation by Aspergillus niger, K1 = cocoa pods fermented by 1% Aspergillus niger, K2 = cocoa pods fermented by 2% Aspergillus niger and K3 = cocoa pods fermented by 3% Aspergillus niger. VFA concentration is K0 77.8 ± 45.49 mM, K1 83.6 ± 23.85 mM, K2 83,6 ± 22,78 mM, K3 87,2 ± 49,20 mM and the concentration of N-NH3 K0 2,04 ± 0,54 mM, K1 3,12 ± 0,27 mM, K2 3.6 ± 0.57 mM, K3 4.92 ± 1.31 mM. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and followed by Orthogonal Polinomial Test. The results showed that the treatment did not significantly affect levels of VFA (P> 0.05) and very significant effect on N-NH3 (P> 0.01) in a linear manner. The results of this study concluded that the higher levels of Aspergillus niger used, the higher VFA and N-NH3 consentration. |
