| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Insidensi penyakit diabetes melitus selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya. Diabetes melitus (DM) disebabkan oleh gangguan sekresi insulin dan sensitivitas insulin yang menyebabkan hiperglikemia. Vitamin D (25[OH]D3) memiliki efek yang kompleks pada tubuh, salah satunya untuk menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dengan mempengaruhi sel-β di pankreas sehingga dapat mensekresi insulin secara normal. Tujuan: Mengetahui korelasi kadar vitamin D (25[OH]D3) dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa pada pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas I Purwokerto Timur. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden merupakan 32 orang penderita DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas I Purwokerto Timur yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kalsidiol (25[OH]D3) diukur dengan menggunakan metode Chemiluminescent Immunoassay, sedangkan glukosa darah puasa diukur dengan menggunakan metode strip tes. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden adalah perempuan (65,60%) dan seluruh responden berusia >45 tahun. Rerata tingkat stres dan IMT berturut-turut yaitu 131,25 dan 21,06 kg/m2. Rerata kadar vitamin D (25[OH]D3) dan kadar glukosa darah puasa responden berturut-turut yaitu 18,93 ng/mL dan 138,41 mg/dl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi negatif kadar vitamin D (25[OH]D3) dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa pada pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas I Purwokerto Timur (p<0,001; rs=-0,573). Kesimpulan: Terdapat korelasi negatif kadar vitamin D (25[OH]D3) dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa pada pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas I Purwokerto Timur. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT Background: Incidence of diabetes mellitus is increasing every year. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is caused by impaired insulin secretion and sensitivity that leading to hyperglycemia. Vitamin D (25[OH]D3) has complex effects on the body, one of which is to decrease blood glucose levels by affecting the β-cells in the pancreas. Objective: The aim of study was to know correlation of vitamin D (25[OH]D3) levels with fasting blood glucose levels in type 2 DM patients at Community Health Centre I East Purwokerto. Methods: The study design used analytic observational with cross sectional approach. Respondents were 32 patients with type 2 DM that fulfil inclusion and exclusion criterias at Community Health Centre I East Purwokerto. Calcidiol (25[OH]D3) was measured by chemiluminescent immunoassay method, whereas fasting blood glucose was measured by strip test method. Data was analyzed by Spearman's correlation test. Results: Mostly of the respondents are females (65,60%) and all of the respondents age >45 years. The average of stress levels and BMI were 131,25 and 21,06 kg/m2 respectively. The average of vitamin D (25[OH]D3) and fasting blood glucose levels were 18,93 ng/mL and 138,41 mg/dl respectively. The results showed negative correlation between vitamin D (25[OH]D3) levels with fasting blood glucose levels in type 2 DM patients at Community Health Centre I East Purwokerto (p<0,001; rs=-0,573). Conclusion: There is negative correlation between vitamin D (25[OH]D3) with fasting blood levels in type 2 DM patients at Community Health Centre I East Purwokerto. |
