Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini menguji performansi sistem kontrol kepekatan nutrisi (Electrical Conductivity/EC) dan pH berbasis Fuzzy Inference pada budidaya hidroponik selada (Lactuca sativa L.) sistem Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). Pengendalian EC dan pH merupakan faktor penting dalam budidaya hidroponik karena memengaruhi ketersediaan dan penyerapan unsur hara oleh tanaman. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan mengevaluasi kemampuan sistem kontrol berbasis Fuzzy Inference dalam mempertahankan nilai EC dan pH sesuai set point, serta membandingkan pertumbuhan tanaman selada yang dibudidayakan menggunakan sistem kontrol dengan budidaya tanpa sistem kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Experimental Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman menggunakan dua sistem budidaya hidroponik NFT, yaitu sistem dengan kontrol Fuzzy Inference dan sistem tanpa kontrol. Nilai set point EC ditetapkan sebesar 1,2 mS/cm pada umur tanaman 5 hari, 2,1 mS/cm pada umur 10 hari, dan 1,8 mS/cm pada umur 15–35 hari, sedangkan pH dipertahankan pada kisaran 5,7–6,0. Evaluasi performansi sistem dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai EC dan pH aktual terhadap set point menggunakan persentase performa, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Square Error (MSE), dan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Selain itu, diamati pula kondisi iklim mikro greenhouse serta pertumbuhan tanaman berdasarkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, dan berat segar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kontrol berbasis Fuzzy Inference mampu mengatur nilai EC dan pH secara otomatis mengikuti perubahan set point selama masa budidaya. Pengendalian pH menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan pengendalian EC, sedangkan nilai EC masih cenderung berada di batas atas set point. Meskipun sistem kontrol dapat mempertahankan kondisi larutan nutrisi secara otomatis, pertumbuhan tanaman pada perlakuan dengan sistem kontrol belum menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan perlakuan tanpa sistem kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi mengenai performansi sistem kontrol berbasis Fuzzy Inference pada budidaya hidroponik selada sistem NFT serta menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan sistem kontrol yang lebih akurat dan adaptif.

Inggris)This study evaluated the performance of a Fuzzy Inference-based control system for regulating nutrient concentration (Electrical Conductivity; EC) and pH in Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic cultivation of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). Controlling EC and pH is essential in hydroponic cultivation because these parameters directly affect nutrient availability and uptake by plants. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the ability of the Fuzzy Inference-based control system to maintain EC and pH at their designated set points and to compare the growth of lettuce cultivated using the control system with that of lettuce grown without the control system. The research was conducted at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, using two NFT hydroponic systems: one equipped with a Fuzzy Inference control system and another operated without automatic control. The EC set points were established at 1.2 mS/cm for 5-day-old plants, 2.1 mS/cm for 10-day old plants, and 1.8 mS/cm for plants aged 15–35 days, while the pH was maintained within the range of 5.7–6.0. The control system performance was evaluated by comparing the actual EC and pH values with their respective set points using performance percentage, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Square Error (MSE), and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). In addition, greenhouse microclimate conditions and plant growth parameters, including plant height, number of leaves, root length, and fresh weight, were observed. The results showed that the Fuzzy Inference-based control system was able to regulate EC and pH automatically in response to changes in the set points throughout the cultivation period. The pH control exhibited better performance than the EC control, while the EC values tended to remain above the designated set points. Although the control system was capable of automatically maintaining the nutrient solution conditions, plant growth under the controlled treatment was not superior to that of the treatment without the control system. These findings provide information on the performance of the Fuzzy Inference-based control system in NFT hydroponic lettuce cultivation and may serve as a basis for the development of more accurate and adaptive control systems
