| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Brokoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. italica) merupakan sayuran bernilai ekonomi tinggi yang secara fisiologis membutuhkan suhu rendah sehingga produksinya di Indonesia masih terkonsentrasi di dataran tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh kemiringan talang, varietas, dan interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil brokoli di dataran rendah pada sistem hidroponik Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) yang dilengkapi root zone cooling. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Experimental Farm, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan, yaitu kemiringan talang (1% dan 5%) dan varietas brokoli (Green Magic Sakata, Green Super, dan Lucky). Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dilanjutkan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%, sedangkan variabel yang tidak memenuhi asumsi analisis ragam dianalisis menggunakan uji nonparametrik Mann-Whitney dan Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi iklim mikro greenhouse berada di atas kisaran ideal pertumbuhan brokoli, dengan suhu rata-rata harian mencapai 35,03°C pada siang hari. Kemiringan talang 5% memberikan hasil lebih baik dibandingkan kemiringan 1% pada seluruh variabel yang diamati, dengan nilai tertinggi pada tinggi tanaman (41,92 cm), jumlah daun (19,78 helai), panjang akar (87,25 cm), bobot segar curd (271,94 gram), dan diameter curd (148,67 mm). Varietas Green Super menunjukkan pertumbuhan terbaik pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan panjang akar dibandingkan dua varietas lainnya. Interaksi antara kemiringan talang dan varietas hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 35 dan 63 HST. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan kemiringan talang 5% untuk mendukung budidaya brokoli secara hidroponik NFT di dataran rendah. |

Inggris) | Broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. italica) is a vegetable of high economic value that physiologically requires cool temperatures, causing its production in Indonesia to remain concentrated in highland areas. This study aimed to examine the effect of gutter slope, variety, and their interaction on the growth and yield of lowland broccoli grown in a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic system equipped with root zone cooling. The research was conducted at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors and three replications, namely gutter slope (1% and 5%) and broccoli variety (Green Magic Sakata, Green Super, and Lucky). Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level, while variables that did not meet the assumptions of variance analysis were analyzed using the nonparametric Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The results showed that the greenhouse microclimate exceeded the ideal range for broccoli growth, with an average daytime temperature reaching 35.03°C. A 5% gutter slope produced better results than a 1% slope across all observed variables, with the highest values recorded for plant height (41.92 cm), number of leaves (19.78 leaves), root length (87.25 cm), fresh curd weight (271.94 grams), and curd diameter (148.67 mm). The Green Super variety showed the best growth performance in plant height, number of leaves, and root length compared to the other two varieties. The interaction between gutter slope and variety was only significant for plant height at 35 and 63 days after planting. This study recommends the use of a 5% gutter slope to support NFT hydroponic cultivation of broccoli in lowland areas. |
