Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan tanaman pangan penting di Indonesia sehingga peningkatan
produktivitas dan mutu hasil tetap menjadi perhatian dalam perbaikan varietas. Penelitian ini
bertujuan mengevaluasi karakter agronomi serta menentukan genotipe F3 hasil persilangan
Rojolele dan Inpari 32 yang berpotensi unggul, berdaya hasil, aromatik, dan berumur genjah.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman, Fakultas
Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, pada November 2025 hingga Mei 2026. Penelitian
menggunakan Rancangan Augmented dengan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok
(RAK), terdiri atas genotipe F3 D11, D12, D16, D31, dan D35 serta lima varietas pembanding, yaitu Rojolele, Inpari 32, Pandanwangi, Inpari 48, dan IR64. Karakter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, umur berbunga, panjang malai, komponen gabah, bobot gabah, persentase gabah isi, bobot 1.000 butir, indeks hijau daun, dan aroma. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan karakter yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Least Significant
Increase (LSI). Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan nyata pada tinggi tanaman 2 MST, tinggi tanaman
6 MST, umur berbunga, dan persentase gabah isi. Seleksi berdasarkan persentase gabah isi dan
aroma menghasilkan 10 genotipe terpilih, yaitu D12-14, D31-10, D16-29, D12-29, D35-21, D11-28, D16-14, D12-12, D11-15, dan D35-26. Genotipe terpilih memiliki tingkat aroma agak wangi hingga sangat wangi dan berpotensi dilanjutkan ke generasi berikutnya.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is an important food crop in Indonesia; therefore, improving yield
potential and grain quality remains an important objective in varietal improvement. This study
aimed to evaluate agronomic characters and identify F3 genotypes derived from the Rojolele ×
Inpari 32 cross with superior, high-yielding, aromatic, and early-maturing potential. The research
was conducted at the Experimental Farm and Plant Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture,
Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, from November 2025 to May 2026. An Augmented Design with
a Randomized Complete Block environmental arrangement was used, involving F3 genotypes D11,
D12, D16, D31, and D35 and five check varieties: Rojolele, Inpari 32, Pandanwangi, Inpari 48,
and IR64. Observed characters included plant height, leaf number, tillers, flowering time, panicle
length, grain components, grain weight, filled-grain percentage, 1,000-grain weight, leaf
greenness index, and aroma. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by the Least Significant
Increase (LSI) test for significant characters. Significant differences were detected in plant height
at 2 and 6 weeks after planting, flowering time, and filled-grain percentage. Selection based on
filled-grain percentage and aroma identified ten genotypes: D12-14, D31-10, D16-29, D12-29,
D35-21, D11-28, D16-14, D12-12, D11-15, and D35-26. The selected genotypes showed moderate
to strong aroma and have potential for further evaluation in the next generation.
