| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menganalisis efisiensi produksi gula kelapa kristal di Kecamatan Cilongok, Kabupaten Banyumas. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada besarnya potensi agroindustri gula kelapa kristal sebagai salah satu produk unggulan berbahan baku nira kelapa yang berperan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat serta mendukung perekonomian daerah. Namun, penggunaan faktor produksi oleh perajin masih banyak didasarkan pada kebiasaan, pengalaman, dan intuisi sehingga diperlukan analisis mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produksi serta tingkat efisiensi produksi gula kelapa kristal. Rumusan masalah penelitian meliputi gambaran umum agroindustri gula kelapa kristal, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah produksi gula kelapa kristal, dan tingkat efisiensi produksi gula kelapa kristal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum agroindustri gula kelapa kristal, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah produksi gula kelapa kristal, dan menganalisis efisiensi produksi gula kelapa kristal di Kecamatan Cilongok, Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 62 perajin gula kelapa kristal yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan instansi terkait. Variabel penelitian meliputi jumlah produksi gula kelapa kristal sebagai variabel dependen, sedangkan variabel independennya terdiri atas jumlah pohon yang disadap, nira kelapa, laru, kayu bakar, dan tenaga kerja. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan pendekatan Variable Return to Scale (VRS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum agroindustri gula kelapa kristal di Kecamatan Cilongok didominasi oleh perajin yang berada pada usia produktif, memiliki tingkat pendidikan dasar, pengalaman usaha yang relatif baru, serta frekuensi mengikuti penyuluhan yang tergolong rendah. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan seluruh faktor produksi berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah produksi gula kelapa kristal. Secara parsial, jumlah pohon yang disadap, nira, kayu bakar, dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah produksi gula kelapa kristal, sedangkan laru tidak berpengaruh nyata. Sementara itu, hasil analisis efisiensi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata efisiensi teknis sebesar 0,939, efisiensi alokatif sebesar 0,862, dan efisiensi ekonomis sebesar 0,809. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa produksi gula kelapa kristal di Kecamatan Cilongok telah mendekati efisien secara teknis, tetapi penggunaan dan pengalokasian faktor produksi masih perlu disesuaikan agar biaya produksi lebih efisien. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study analyzes the production efficiency of crystal coconut sugar in Cilongok Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The background of this study is based on the potential of the crystal coconut sugar agroindustry as one of the leading coconut sap-based products in supporting community income and regional economic development. However, the use of production factors by producers is still largely based on habits, experience, and intuition. The research questions focus on the general overview of the crystal coconut sugar agroindustry, the factors influencing crystal coconut sugar production, and the production efficiency of crystal coconut sugar. The study aims to determine the general overview of the crystal coconut sugar agroindustry, analyze the factors influencing crystal coconut sugar production, and analyze the production efficiency of crystal coconut sugar in Cilongok Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews and observations using a questionnaire with respondents selected through proportionate random sampling, while secondary data were obtained through literature review. The variables used in this study to analyze crystal coconut sugar production include crystal coconut sugar production, the number of tapped trees, coconut sap, laru, firewood, and labor. Data analysis utilized descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with the Variable Return to Scale (VRS) approach. The results of the study indicate that, in the context of the crystal coconut sugar agroindustry in Cilongok Subdistrict, the majority of respondents are of productive age, have a basic level of education, have relatively short business experience, and have a low level of participation in extension programs. Factors that significantly influence crystal coconut sugar production are the number of tapped trees, coconut sap, firewood, and labor, while laru does not significantly affect crystal coconut sugar production. Meanwhile, the results of the efficiency analysis show that the technical efficiency level is 0.939, the allocative efficiency is 0.862, and the economic efficiency is 0.809. These results indicate that crystal coconut sugar production in Cilongok Subdistrict is relatively close to achieving technical efficiency. However, the use and allocation of production factors still need to be adjusted to improve production cost efficiency. |
