| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | RINGKASAN Pilpres merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam kehidupan demokrasi di Indonesia karena melalui Pilpres masyarakat menentukan arah kepemimpinan bangsa selama lima tahun ke depan. Oleh karena itu, opini masyarakat tentang Pilpres menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan. Namun, opini tersebut tidak selalu terbentuk secara rasional karena sering dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor sosial di lingkungan masyarakat. Desa Dayeuhluhur misalnya, opini masyarakat masih dipengaruhi oleh dinamika politik lokal seperti peran tokoh masyarakat serta munculnya isu bantuan dari pasangan calon tertentu. Selain itu, perkembangan media sosial juga membawa dinamika baru melalui generasi muda yang banyak memperoleh informasi politik dari ruang digital. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya perpaduan antara pengaruh sosial tradisional dan arus informasi digital dalam pembentukan opini masyarakat desa tentang Pilpres. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana opini masyarakat Desa Dayeuhluhur terhadap proses Pilpres serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan opini tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan masyarakat di RW 01 dan RW 03 Desa Dayeuhluhur, observasi, serta dokumentasi pendukung. Narasumber penelitian dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu seperti terdaftar dalam DPT (Daftar Pemilih Tetap), tokoh masyarakat di RW 01 dan RW 03, kelompok generasi Z di RW 01 dan RW 03, dan kelompok rentan di RW 01 dan RW 03. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa opini masyarakat Desa Dayeuhluhur terhadap Pilpres tidak terbentuk secara langsung, melainkan melalui proses interaksi sosial dan pertukaran informasi di lingkungan masyarakat. Opini tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti media sosial, dinamika politik lokal, keluarga, serta pertemanan. Generasi muda cenderung memperoleh informasi politik dari media sosial dan mendiskusikannya dengan teman sebaya, sementara masyarakat yang lebih tua lebih banyak menjadikan keluarga dan tokoh lokal sebagai rujukan dalam memahami informasi mengenai Pilpres. Selain itu, dinamika politik lokal juga mempengaruhi pembentukan opini masyarakat, terutama melalui peran tokoh masyarakat serta munculnya isu bantuan yang ditawarkan oleh pihak tertentu kepada masyarakat desa. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan opini masyarakat tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh arus informasi politik di tingkat nasional, tetapi juga oleh relasi sosial dan dinamika politik lokal yang berkembang di lingkungan desa. Dengan demikian, kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada upaya melihat isu Pilpres dari sudut pandang opini masyarakat desa yang dipengaruhi oleh dinamika politik lokal serta latar belakang sosial masyarakat yang berbeda dalam memahami dan menanggapi informasi politik. |

Inggris) | SUMMARY Presidential elections are an important instrument in Indonesia's democratic life because through them the people determine the direction of the nation's leadership for the next five years. Therefore, public opinion about presidential elections is important to pay attention to. However, these opinions are not always formed rationally because they are often influenced by various social factors in the community. In Dayeuhluhur Village, for example, public opinion is still influenced by local political dynamics such as the role of community leaders and the emergence of issues related to assistance from certain candidate pairs. In addition, the development of social media has also brought new dynamics through the younger generation, who obtain a lot of political information from the digital space. This condition shows a combination of traditional social influences and digital information flows in shaping the village community's opinion about the presidential election. This study aims to determine the opinions of the Dayeuhluhur Village community regarding the presidential election process and the factors that influence the formation of these opinions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the community in RW 01 and RW 03 of Dayeuhluhur Village, observation, and supporting documentation. Research informants were selected using purposive sampling based on certain criteria, such as being registered in the DPT (Permanent Voter List), community leaders in RW 01 and RW 03, Generation Z groups in RW 01 and RW 03, and vulnerable groups in RW 01 and RW 03. The results of this study indicate that the opinions of the Dayeuhluhur Village community regarding the presidential election were not formed directly, but rather through a process of social interaction and information exchange within the community. These opinions were influenced by several factors, such as social media, local political dynamics, family, and friendships. The younger generation tends to obtain political information from social media and discuss it with their peers, while older people rely more on family and local figures as references in understanding information about the presidential election. In addition, local political dynamics also influence the formation of public opinion, especially through the role of community leaders and the emergence of issues related to assistance offered by certain parties to the village community. This condition shows that the formation of public opinion is not only influenced by the flow of political information at the national level, but also by social relations and local political dynamics that develop in rural communities. Thus, the novelty of this research lies in its attempt to view the presidential election issue from the perspective of rural communities' opinions, which are influenced by local political dynamics and different social backgrounds in understanding and responding to political information. |
