DAUN WARU DAN DAUN BAMBU
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan level pemberian tepung daun Waru dan daun Bambu terhadap kecernaan serat kasar dan protein kasar domba lokal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan di UD Amanah Bata Farm, Desa Datar, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian berupa domba lokal jantan berusia 8-12 bulan yang ditempatkan pada kandang individu dan diacak secara sempurna untuk menerima 4 perlakuan yaitu P0 = JPA ad libitum + Konsentrat 1,5% dari BB domba (pakan kontrol); P1 = P0 + Tepung daun waru 50% (2,4 gr) + Tepung daun bambu 50% (1,3 gr); P2 = P0 + Tepung daun waru 75% (3,6 gr) + Tepung daun bambu 25% (0,6 gr); P3 = P0 + Tepung daun waru 25% (1,2 gr) + Tepung daun bambu 75% (1,9 gr) sesuai Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola satu arah (one way classification) dan setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 6 kali, sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Pakan percobaan yang diberikan berupa konsentrat sebanyak dan jerami padi amoniasi diberikan secara ad libitum terkontrol. Peubah yang diukur adalah kecernaan serat kasar dan protein kasar yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode koleksi total. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan serat kasar namun berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kecernaan protein kasar. Hasil uji lanjut menunjukan kecernaan protein kasar pada perlakuan P2 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dosis tepung daun Waru dan daun Bambu yang direkomendasikan adalah 75% (TDW) dan 25% (TDB).

Inggris)This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different supplementation levels of Waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) leaf meal and bamboo leaf meal on the crude fiber and crude protein digestibility of local sheep. The experiment was conducted over four months at UD Amanah Bata Farm, Datar Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The experimental animals consisted of 24 local male sheep aged 8–12 months, housed individually and randomly assigned to one of four dietary treatments in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a one-way classification. Each treatment was replicated six times, resulting in 24 experimental units. The treatments were: P0 = ammoniated rice straw offered ad libitum + concentrate at 1.5% of body weight (control diet); P1 = P0 + 2.4 g Waru leaf meal (50%) + 1.3 g bamboo leaf meal (50%); P2 = P0 + 3.6 g Waru leaf meal (75%) + 0.6 g bamboo leaf meal (25%); and P3 = P0 + 1.2 g Waru leaf meal (25%) + 1.9 g bamboo leaf meal (75%). Concentrate was provided according to the treatment, while ammoniated rice straw was offered ad libitum under controlled conditions. The observed variables were crude fiber digestibility and crude protein digestibility, determined using the total collection method. The results showed that the treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05) on crude fiber digestibility but had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on crude protein digestibility. Further analysis indicated that crude protein digestibility in the P2 treatment was significantly higher than that of the control treatment. Based on these findings, supplementation with 75% Waru leaf meal and 25% bamboo leaf meal is recommended.
