| Judul Artikel | Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dan Tipe Keluarga dengan Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Ibu Menyusui di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Timur I |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: ASI eksklusif merupakan upaya meningkatkan kesehatan bayi, namun cakupannya belum mencapai target. Salah satu faktor keberhasilan menyusui adalah Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy (BSE), yaitu keyakinan terhadap kemampuan menyusui. BSE terbentuk melalui persuasi verbal orang terdekat seperti orang yang tinggal bersama ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan tipe keluarga dengan BSE ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Timur I. Metodologi: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif kolerasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, yaitu sebanyak 54 ibu menyusui dengan bayi usia 0-6 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Timur I. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner demografi, Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (BSES-SF), dan Dukungan Keluarga. Analisis univariat disajikan dalam tabel frekuensi dan persentase. Analisis bivariat menggunakan Uji Chi Square (p < 0,05). Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden dalam kategori usia tidak berisiko, telah menamatkan jenjang pendidikan SMA/sederajat, IRT, dan pernah menyusui selama lebih dari 6 bulan. Uji statistik menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan pada dukungan keluarga (p-value = 0,001) dan tipe keluarga (p-value = 0,005) dengan BSE ibu menyusui di wilayah puskesmas Purwokerto Timur I Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan tipe keluarga dengan BSE ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Timur I. Semakin baik dukungan keluarga, semakin tinggi BSE. Ibu dengan nuclear family memiliki BSE yang lebih tinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is an effort to improve infant health. However, its coverage has not yet reached the expected target. One of the factors influencing breastfeeding success is breastfeeding self-efficacy (BSE), which refers to a mother’s confidence in her ability to breastfeed. BSE is formed through verbal persuasion from those closest to the mother or those living with her. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and family type with the BSE of breastfeeding mothers in Purwokerto Timur I Community Health Center service area. Methods: This study was a quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design. The sampling used total sampling, involving 54 breastfeeding mothers with infants aged 0-6 months in the Purwokerto Timur I Community Health Center service area. Datas were collected using a demographic questionnaire, Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (BSES-SF), and a Family Support quesionnaire. Univariate analysis was presented in frequancy and percentage tables. Bivariate analysis was conducted using the Chi-square Test (p <0,05). Results: The majority of respondents were in the non-risk age group, had completed senior high school or equivalent education, were housewives, and had previous breastfeeding experience of more than six months. The statistical test results showed that there was a significant relationships between family support (p-value = 0,001) and family type (p-value = 0,005) with the BSE of breastfeeding mothers in the Purwokerto Timur I Community Health Center service area. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and family type with BSE of breastfeeding mothers in the Purwokerto Timur I Community Health Center service area. The better the family support, the higher the BSE. Mothers from nuclear families exhibit higher BSE. |
