RINGKASAN Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas kegiatan praktik kerja lapangan (magang) yang dilaksanakan di Cyberview Resort & Spa, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, dengan fokus utama pada pembuatan video informatif yang berjudul "Visualizing the Offline Reservation Process through an Informative Video". Laporan ini mendeskripsikan program magang selama enam bulan, proses pengembangan video, serta tantangan yang dihadapi selama pengerjaan proyek tersebut. Video ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang jelas mengenai prosedur reservasi offline bagi tamu yang datang langsung (walk-in guests) di Cyberview Resort & Spa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam laporan ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati secara langsung aktivitas harian dan prosedur reservasi offline di Front Office Department. Wawancara dilaksanakan bersama Assistant Front Office Manager dan staf Front Office guna memperoleh informasi yang akurat mengenai proses reservasi serta pelayanan hotel. Sementara itu, dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan materi pendukung berupa foto dan cuplikan video. Adapun proses produksi video ini meliputi penyusunan jadwal, penulisan naskah (script), pengambilan gambar (shooting), penyuntingan (editing), hingga publikasi video akhir. Selama pelaksanaan proyek, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi, di antaranya adalah pengaturan jadwal pengambilan gambar di tengah kesibukan operasional resor, pemilihan elemen visual yang sesuai selama proses penyuntingan, serta publikasi video yang telah selesai. Tantangan-tantangan tersebut berhasil diatasi dengan menyesuaikan jadwal pengambilan gambar dengan viii kondisi operasional hotel, memilih elemen penyuntingan yang mendukung konsep informatif, serta mengunggah video akhir melalui Instagram Reels. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan magang dan proyek akhir ini memberikan pengalaman yang berharga dalam industri perhotelan dan media digital, sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, kerja sama tim, pemecahan masalah, serta produksi video. |

Inggris) | This final project report discusses my job training at Cyberview Resort & Spa, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with a focus on developing an informative video entitled Visualizing the Offline Reservation Process through an Informative Video. The report describes the six-month job training program, the process of developing the video, and the challenges encountered during the project. The video was created to provide clear information about the offline reservation procedure for walk-in guests at Cyberview Resort & Spa. The report used observation, interviews, and documentation as the main methods. Observation was conducted by directly observing the Front Office Department’s daily activities and offline reservation procedures. Interviews were held with the Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office staff to obtain accurate information about the reservation process and hotel services, while documentation was used to collect supporting materials such as photographs and video footage. The production process included preparing the schedule, writing the script, shooting, editing, and publishing the final video. During the project, I faced several challenges, including scheduling the shoot during the resort busy operational period, selecting suitable visual elements during editing, and publishing the completed video. These challenges were addressed by adjusting the shooting schedule to the hotel operational conditions, selecting editing elements that supported the informative concept, and uploading the final video through Instagram Reels. Overall, this job training and final project provided valuable experience in hospitality and digital media while improving my communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and video production skills. |
