| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ketertarikan akan produk yang aman untuk kulit telah mendorong peningkatan formulasi kosmetik yang menggunakan bahan-bahan alami dibandingkan dengan bahan kimia sintetis. Morchella dikenal sebagai jamur yang dapat dimakan dan memiliki potensi dalam kosmetik. Spesies baru Morchella, Morchella rinjaniensis, ditemukan di Gunung Rinjani, Lombok, Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas kosmetik ekstrak M. rinjaniensis, termasuk aktivitas antioksidan, anti-tirosinase, anti-hialuronidase, dan anti-jerawat, serta untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa bioaktif yang ditemukan dalam ekstrak tersebut. Pendekatan eksperimental berbasis laboratorium digunakan untuk mengevaluasi ekstrak tubuh buah dan miselium M. rinjaniensis dari berbagai pelarut, termasuk etanol 70%, metanol, dan air suling. Pengujian mencakup pengujian penghambatan radikal bebas 2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH), pengujian penghambatan tirosinase, pengujian penghambatan hialuronidase, pengujian anti-jerawat, dan analisis Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). Konsentrasi ekstrak bervariasi selama pengujian, berkisar dari 50 hingga 1000 ppm. Keefektifan ekstrak M. rinjaniensis bervariasi pada setiap sifat kosmetik. Keefektifan antioksidan ditemukan pada ekstrak air suling miselium pada 1000 ppm (70,06 ± 0,36%). Aktivitas penghambatan tirosinase efektif pada ekstrak metanol miselium pada 1000 ppm (37,95 ± 1,80%) dan ekstrak etanol miselium pada 1000 ppm (33,31 ± 1,73%). Aktivitas penghambatan hialuronidase efektif pada ekstrak metanol tubuh buah pada konsentrasi 100 ppm (70,27 ± 6,28%). Aktivitas anti-jerawat efektif pada ekstrak etanol miselium pada konsentrasi 1000 ppm (74,52 ± 0,94%), ekstrak metanol tubuh buah pada konsentrasi 500 ppm (68,49 ± 3,92%), dan ekstrak air suling tubuh buah pada konsentrasi 500 ppm (65,04 ± 3,99%). Berbagai senyawa bioaktif yang berkontribusi pada aktivitas biologis yang diamati diidentifikasi melalui analisis GC-MS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik miselium maupun tubuh buah M. rinjaniensis merupakan sumber senyawa bioaktif yang berkontribusi dalam aktivitas kosmeseutikal yang mencakup aktivitas antioksidan, anti-tirosinase, anti-hialuronidase, dan anti-jerawat. Identifikasi senyawa bioaktif melalui GC-MS mendukung dan membuktikan potensi ekstrak M. rinjaniensis dalam formulasi perawatan kulit. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The desire for skin-safe products has driven an increase in cosmeceutical formulations utilizing natural ingredients instead of synthetic chemicals. Morchella is known as an edible mushroom that has potential in cosmeceuticals. A new species of Morchella, Morchella rinjaniensis, was found in Mount Rinjani, Lombok, Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the cosmeceutical properties of M. rinjaniensis extract, including antioxidant, anti-tyrosinase, anti-hyaluronidase, and anti-acne activity, and to identify the bioactive compounds found in the extract. A laboratory-based experimental approach was employed to evaluate the extracts of M. rinjaniensis fruiting body and mycelium from different solvent extracts, including ethanol 70%, methanol, and distilled water. Assays encompassed the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging assay, tyrosinase inhibition assay, hyaluronidase inhibition assay, anti-acne assay, and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. The concentration of the extract varied during the assay, ranging from 50 to 1000 ppm. The efficacy of M. rinjaniensis extract varied in each cosmeceutical property. Antioxidant efficacy was found in the mycelium distilled water extract at 1000 ppm (70.06 ± 0.36%). Tyrosinase inhibitory activity was observed in mycelium methanol extract at 1000 ppm (37.95 ± 1.80%) and mycelium ethanol extract at 1000 ppm (33.31 ± 1.73%). Hyaluronidase inhibitory activity was demonstrated in the fruiting body methanol extract at 100 ppm (70.27 ± 6.28%). Anti-acne activity was seen in the mycelium ethanol extract at 1000 ppm (74.52 ± 0.94%), fruiting body methanol extract at 500 ppm (68.49 ± 3.92%), and fruiting body distilled water extract at 500 ppm (65.04 ± 3.99%). Furthermore, a variety of bioactive compounds that may have contributed to the observed biological activities were identified through GC-MS analysis. The results indicate that both the mycelium and fruiting body of M. rinjaniensis are desirable sources of bioactive compounds in cosmeceuticals, owing to their antioxidant, anti-tyrosinase, anti-hyaluronidase, and anti-acne properties. The identification of bioactive compounds through GC-MS emphasizes their potential value in skincare formulations. |
