Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana standar kecantikan dalam dunia modeling melalui tokoh Natsume Hyakuta dalam serial Followers (2020) yang disutradarai oleh Mika Ninagawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan teoriThe Beauty Myth Naomi Wolf. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak catat. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasistandar kecantikan yang berlaku dalam dunia modeling. . Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tokoh Natsume Hyakuta dapat merepresentasikan standar kecantikan yang menekankan penampilan fisik ideal, seperti tubuh yang langsing, wajah yang simetris, kulit yang bersih, gaya berbusana yang mengikuti tren, serta kemampuan mempertahankan citra yang menarik di hadapan publik dan media sosial.

Inggris) | This study analyzes how beauty standards in the modeling industry are represented through the character of Natsume Hyakuta in the television series Followers (2020), directed by Mika Ninagawa. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method and applies Naomi Wolf's The Beauty Myth as its theoretical framework. Data were collected using the observation and note-taking technique. The purpose of this study is to identify the beauty standards that prevail in the modeling industry. The findings reveal that the character of Natsume Hyakuta represents beauty standards that emphasize an ideal physical appearance, including a slim body, a symmetrical face, bright and clear skin, fashionable clothing that follows current trends, and the ability to maintain an attractive public image both in front of the public and on social media. The study concludes that beauty standards in the modeling industry are a social construct that places continuous pressure on women to conform to ideal standards of beauty. Furthermore, the character of Natsume Hyakuta represents how the beauty myth shapes women's identities and social positions amid the pressures of the fashion industry and modern media.
