| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Allopurinol is one of drug’s chemicals subtance which is commonly added in jamu asam urat. It can treat gout that can decrease uric acid levels in the blood. This study aims to determine whether there is content of allopurinol in jamu asam urat and to find out the contained levels of allopurinol in jamu asam urat in Purwokerto. This research was done by a laboratory experimental method. The Sampling was done by consecutive sampling. Qualitative analysis was done by using Thin Layer Chromatography method and spectrum of UV absorption spectrophotometry. Quantitative analysis was done by using UV spectrophotometry at a maximum wavelength of 250 nm. The results of qualitative analysis was showed from all 5 samples there are samples 4 and 5 that contained allopurinol. The results of quantitative analysis was showed that levels allopurinol in the sample 4 is 723,193 mg/consumption and sample 5 is 104,496 mg/consumption. |
