| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Keterkaitan Antara Inflasi dan Pengangguran di Indonesia Tahun 1991-2012”. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji secara empiris kausalitas antara inflasi dengan pengangguran di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Bank Indonesia, dan International Monetary Fund. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah kausalitas Granger (1969). Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, pengangguran di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh pengangguran pada satu tahun sebelumnya. Pengangguran satu tahun sebelumnya memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap jumlah pengangguran saat ini. Dari hasil kausalitas Granger terlihat bahwa inflasi tidak memengaruhi jumlah pengangguran. Kedua, inflasi di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh inflasi pada satu tahun sebelumnya, pengangguran satu tahun sebelumnya, dan pengangguran dua tahun sebelumnya. Inflasi satu tahun sebelumnya dan jumlah pengangguran dua tahun sebelumnya memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap inflasi pada tahun sekarang. Adapun pengangguran satu tahun sebelumnya memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap inflasi pada tahun sekarang. Hasil kausalitas Granger menunjukkan pengangguran memengaruhi inflasi. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research entitled “The Analysis of Correlation Between Inflation and Unemployment in Indonesia Periods 1991-2012”. The purpose of research is to empirically examine the causality between inflation and unemployment in Indonesia. The study was conducted by quantitative methods. Data obtained from the Central Agency of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, and the International Monetary Fund. The analysis methods used is the Granger causality (1969). The conclusions of this research are, first, unemployment in Indonesia affected by unemployment in the previous one year. The previous one year unemployment has a positive influence on the number of unemployment at this time. From the results of Granger causality shows that inflation does not affect the number of unemployment. Second, inflation in Indonesia is influenced by the previous one year inflation, the previous one year unemployment, and the previous two years of unemployment. Inflation of the one previous year and the previous two years the number of unemployment has a positive effect on inflation in the current year. The unemployment of the previous one year has a negative impact on inflation in the current year. Granger causality results indicate unemployment affect inflation. |
