Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Mikroklimat kandang yang meliputi suhu dan kelembaban merupakan faktor penting
dalam pemeliharaan ayam parent stock. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis
kondisi mikroklimat kandang serta mengevaluasi perbedaan pertambahan bobot badan
(PBB) dan keseragaman ayam parent stock umur 11 minggu pada kelompok suhu yang
berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan di PT Japfa Comfeed Unit Cipunagara 1 pada bulan
Agustus hingga November 2024 menggunakan 6 kandang (kandang 3–8). Pengukuran suhu
dilakukan pada setiap kandang, kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi suhu tinggi dan suhu
rendah. Data performa ayam jantan dan betina dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diuji
menggunakan uji t dua sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu
kandang berkisar antara 28,20–28,53°C (rendah) dan 30,21–31,50°C (tinggi). Rata-rata
PBB jantan pada suhu tinggi sebesar 100,33 ± 2,52 g dan suhu rendah sebesar 171,00 ±
10,54 g, sedangkan pada betina masing-masing sebesar 94,33 ± 1,53 g dan 143,00 ± 10,54
g. Keseragaman pada ayam jantan pada suhu tinggi sebesar 76,91 ± 1,43% dan suhu rendah
sebesar 81,68 ± 0,14%, sedangkan pada betina masing-masing sebesar 80,98 ± 0,59% dan
86,91 ± 0,53%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan suhu kandang
memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap PBB dan uniformity ayam.
Kesimpulannya, peningkatan suhu kandang di atas kisaran optimal dapat menurunkan
pertumbuhan dan keseragaman ayam parent stock umur 11 minggu akibat cekaman panas.

the management of parent stock chickens. This study aimed to analyze the microclimate
conditions of poultry houses and to evaluate the differences in body weight gain (BWG) and
uniformity of 11-week-old parent stock chickens under different temperature groups. The
study was conducted at PT Japfa Comfeed Unit Cipunagara 1 from August to November 2024
using six houses (house 3–8). Temperature measurements were carried out in each house and
then classified into high and low temperature groups. The performance data of male and
female chickens were analyzed descriptively and tested using an independent sample t-test.
The results showed that house temperatures ranged from 28.20–28.53°C (low) and 30.21–
31.50°C (high). The average BWG of males in the high-temperature group was 100.33 ± 2.52
g and in the low-temperature group was 171.00 ± 10.54 g, while in females it was 94.33 ± 1.53
g and 143.00 ± 10.54 g, respectively. The uniformity of males in the high-temperature group
was 76.91 ± 1.43% and in the low-temperature group was 81.68 ± 0.14%, while in females it
was 80.98 ± 0.59% and 86.91 ± 0.53%, respectively. Statistical analysis showed that
temperature differences had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on BWG and uniformity. In
conclusion, higher house temperatures above the optimal range can reduce growth
performance and uniformity of 11-week-old parent stock chickens due to heat stress.
