| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rata-rata jumlah anggota dan lama berdirinya kelompok, tingkat modal sosial, serta hubungan antara jumlah anggota dan lama berdirinya kelompok dengan modal sosial. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 4 Februari-1 Maret 2026 di Kecamatan Kalibagor, Sumbang, dan Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas dengan responden sebanyak 105 anggota kelompok peternak sapi potong yang ditentukan secara sensus. Metode penelitian secara survey, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa jumlah anggota kelompok terendah 5 anggota, tertinggi 30 anggota dan lama berdirinya kelompok terendah 1 tahun, tertinggi 13 tahun. Tingkat modal sosial anggota kelompok peternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Banyumas tergolong tinggi (53,33%), modal sosial berdasarkan indikator jaringan kerja sama termasuk kategori tinggi (60%), kepercayaan termasuk kategori sedang (50,48%) sampai tinggi (45,71%), dan norma termasuk kategori tinggi (59,05%). Hasil uji korelasi Rank Spearman menggambarkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat korelasi cukup antara jumlah anggota kelompok dengan modal sosial (ρ = 0,426; p < 0,001) serta hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat korelasi kuat antara lama berdirinya kelompok dengan modal sosial (ρ = 0,727; p < 0,001). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah semakin banyak jumlah anggota dan semakin lama kelompok berdiri akan meningkatkan modal sosial kelompok. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah kelompok peternak harus tetap dipertahankan secara eksistensi dan fungsi serta menjaga anggota yang sudah bergabung, sehingga peternak akan memiliki modal sosial yang kuat. |

Inggris) | This study aims to determine the average number of members and the length of time the group has been established, the level of social capital, and the relationship between the number of members and the length of time the group has been established with social capital. The study was conducted on February 4 - March 1, 2026 in Kalibagor, Sumbang, and Kembaran Districts, Banyumas Regency with 105 members of beef cattle farmer groups determined by census. The research method was a survey, data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and Spearman's Rank correlation test. The results of the study illustrate that the lowest number of group members was 5 members and the highest was 30 members and the lowest length of group existence was 1 year and the highest was 13 years. The level of social capital of members of beef cattle farmer groups in Banyumas Regency is classified as high (53.33%), social capital based on the cooperation network indicator is included in the high category (60%), trust is included in the medium category (50.48%) to high (45.71%), and norms are included in the high category (59.05%). The Spearman Rank correlation test results indicate a positive and significant relationship, with a moderate correlation, between the number of group members and social capital (ρ = 0.426; p < 0.001), and a positive and significant relationship, with a strong correlation, between the length of group existence and social capital (ρ = 0.727; p < 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that a greater number of members and a longer period of existence of the group will increase the group's social capital. The recommendation from this study is that livestock groups must be maintained in terms of their existence and function, and that existing members be retained to ensure strong social capital. |
