Indonesia) | Isu transisi energi dan target Net Zero Emission 2060 mendorong pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan program co-firing biomassa di PLTU Adipala salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan tanaman kaliandra dan gamal. Dalam praktik jurnalisme, muncul kaidah baru yang mengangkat prinsip psikologi positif, Jurnalisme konstruktif merupakan pendekatan dalam praktik jurnalisme yang berbasis solusi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Media lokal memiliki peran strategis dalam mengedukasi dan mendorong partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran media lokal melalui praktik jurnalisme konstruktif, Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep peran media lokal, prinsip jurnalisme konstruktif (Mclntyre & Glydensted), serta Teori Media Partisipan Demokratis Denis McQuail sebagai landasan teoritis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media lokal telah mengadaptasi empat nilai jurnalisme konstruktif. Praktik tersebut menghasilkan peran media lokal berbasis potensi media dan masyarakat untuk mendorong pelaksanaan program biomassa. |

Inggris) | The issue of energy transition and the 2060 Net Zero Emissions target has prompted the Indonesian government to implement a biomass co-firing program at the Adipala coal-fired power plant, one of which involves the use of calliandra and gamal plants. In journalistic practice, a new rule has emerged that promotes the principles of positive psychology. Constructive journalism is an approach in journalism practice that is based on solutions and community empowerment. Local media have a strategic role in educating and encouraging community participation. This study aims to describe the role of local media through the practice of constructive journalism. This study uses the concept of the role of local media, the principles of constructive journalism (Mclntyre & Glydensted), and Denis McQuail's Democratic Participatory Media Theory as its theoretical basis. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that local media have adopted the four values of constructive journalism. These practices result in the role of local media based on the potential of the media and the community to encourage the implementation of biomass programs. |
