Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya kepala sekolah dalam membangun sekolah responsif gende, indikator sekolah responsif gender serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Latar belakang dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu pentingnya pendidikan responsif gender untuk mewujudkan kebutuhan setiap gender secara adil dan setara dalam bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah; wakil kepala sekolah dibidang kurikulum, sarpras, kesiswaan, humas; guru; dan siswa. Informan tersebut dipilih dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik validitas data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model interaktif Miles, Huberman dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat beberapa upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam membangun sekolah responsif gender dalam konteks pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, yaitu melaksanakan pembelajaran berdifferensiasi; penguatan kapasitas guru dan tendik; penyusunan program P5 sensitif gender; integrasi perspektif gender dalam modul ajar; dan pembentukan TPPKS. Indikator sekolah responsif dalam konteks pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dapat ditinjau melalui standar kelulusan, isi, proses, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sarana dan prasarana, pengelolaan, pembiayaan, pembiayaan, penilaian, peserta didik, dan partisipasi masyarakat. Tantangan dalam melaksanakan kurikulum merdeka, yaitu keterbatasan waktu dan beragam format penilaian, serta kurangnya kegiatan pelatihan offline.

Inggris)This study aims to analyze the efforts of school principals in developing gender-responsive schools, the indicators of gender-responsive schools, and the challenges encountered in implementing the Independent Curriculum. The background of this study lies in the urgency of gender-responsive education to fulfill the needs of each gender fairly and equally in the field of education. The study employed a descriptive qualitative research method. The informants included school principals; vice principals for curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, student affairs, and public relations; teachers; and students, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data was ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings show that several efforts made by school principals to build gender-responsive schools within the framework of the Independent Curriculum. These include implementing differentiated learning, strengthening the capacity of teachers and staff, developing gender-sensitive P5 programs, integrating gender perspectives into teaching modules, and establishing TPPKS. Indicators of gender-responsive schools in the context of the Independent Curriculum can be observed through the standards of graduation, content, teaching and learning processes, teachers and educational staff, facilities and infrastructure, school management, financing, assessment, students, and community participation. The challenges in implementing the Independent Curriculum include limited time, diverse assessment formats, and the lack of offline training programs.
