| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Fluktuasi produksi padi di Kabupaten Banyumas memicu munculnya pencilan data yang menyebabkan bias pada estimasi parameter jika dimodelkan dengan metode ordinary least squares (OLS). Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas regresi robust estimasi M menggunakan fungsi pembobot Huber dan Welsch sebagai solusi alternatif. Menggunakan data periode 2023–2024, penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produksi padi, meliputi produktivitas, tenaga kerja, dan pupuk urea. Hasil analisis komparatif menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pembobot Huber merupakan model yang lebih direkomendasikan karena menghasilkan nilai AIC dan BIC yang lebih rendah dibandingkan fungsi Welsch. Melalui model Huber, ditemukan bahwa produktivitas dan tenaga kerja merupakan faktor dominan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi, sedangkan penggunaan pupuk urea tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata. |

Inggris) | Fluctuations in rice production in Banyumas Regency often result in data containing outliers, which leads to biased parameter estimation when using the ordinary least squares (OLS) method. This study evaluates the effectiveness of robust regression with M-estimation using Huber and Welsch weighting functions to overcome this issue. Using data from 2023–2024, the study identifies factors influencing rice production, including productivity, labor, and urea fertilizer. The comparative analysis shows that the Huber weighting function outperforms the Welsch function, as indicated by lower AIC and BIC values. Based on the Huber model, productivity and labor are identified as the primary significant factors driving rice production in the region, while urea fertilizer shows no significant impact. |
