| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Studi ini meneliti bagaimana stres yudisial direpresentasikan dalam media populer, dengan fokus khusus pada EP Arknights Sentenced dan cerita dalam game Il Siracusano. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk stress yudisial yang terdiri dari faktor internal dan eksternal yang berkontribusi terhadap stres yudisial yang dialami oleh protagonis, Lavinia Falcone, serta untuk mengungkap bagaimana bahasa simbolik menggambarkan kecacatan hukum. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, studi ini menerapkan teori stres yudisial Monica K. Miller (2019) untuk mengkategorikan perjuangan protagonis, dan kerangka semiotik Roland Barthes tentang denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos untuk menganalisis lirik. Temuan tersebut mengungkapkan bentuk stres yudisial secara naratif dan objek simbolik dalam bentuk faktor internal dari stress yudisial yang muncul sebagai pelemahan moral dan 'hati nurani yang terluka', dan faktor eksternal yang berasal dari tekanan institusional dari Famiglie dan 'Grey Hall'. Secara semiotik, simbol-simbol seperti 'palu sidang' dan 'prajurit kaki' melambangkan 'lembaga yang hancur', di mana otonomi hakim digantikan oleh mitos bahwa hukum hanyalah alat bagi yang berkuasa. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menunjukkan bagaimana stres yudisial dapat digunakan untuk mengkritik kegagalan struktural dalam sistem hukum yang rusak. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study examines how judicial stress is represented in popular media, with a particular focus on the Arknights EP Sentenced and the Il Siracusano in-game story. The study aims to identify the form of judicial stress which consist of internal and external factors contributing to the judicial stress experienced by the protagonist, Lavinia Falcone, and to reveal how symbolic language portrays the decline of the judiciary. Adopting a qualitative descriptive approach, the study applied Monica K. Miller’s (2019) theory of judicial stress to categorise the protagonist’s struggles, and Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework of denotation, connotation and myth to analyse the lyrics. The findings deal with the form of judicial stress are revealed through narrative and symbolic objects. The forms include internal factors of judicial stress that manifests as moral dilution and a 'bruised conscience', and external factors stem from institutional pressure from the Famiglie and the 'Grey Hall'. Semiotically, symbols such as the 'gavel' and 'foot soldier' represent a 'ruined institution', in which the judge’s autonomy is replaced by the myth that the law is merely a tool for the powerful. Overall, the study demonstrates how judicial stress can be used to critique structural failures within compromised legal systems. |
