| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat kedisiplinan antara siswa SMA dan SMK. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, sementara analisis data dilakukan melalui uji statistik Chi Kuadrat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai Chi Kuadrat sebesar 6,897 dengan nilai signifikansi (p value) sebesar 0,009 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima, sehingga terdapat perbedaan tingkat kedisiplinan yang signifikan antara siswa SMA dan SMK. Selain itu, hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan karakteristik budaya sekolah pada kedua jenis lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Budaya sekolah di SMK cenderung lebih terstruktur dan menekankan pembentukan disiplin kerja sebagai persiapan siswa memasuki dunia industri, sedangkan budaya sekolah di SMA lebih berorientasi pada penguatan aspek akademik dan persiapan siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. |

Inggris) | This study aims to analyze the relationship between school culture and students’ levels of discipline at the senior high school (SMA) and vocational high school (SMK) levels. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, and the data are analyzed through the Chi-square statistical test. The test results indicate a Chi-square value of 6.897 with a significance level (p-value) of 0.009, which is lower than 0.05. These findings support the research hypothesis and confirm a significant relationship between school culture and students’ disciplinary levels. In addition, the study reveals differences in the characteristics of school culture across the two types of educational institutions. School culture in vocational high schools tends to be more structured and emphasizes the development of work discipline as preparation for students entering the industrial workforce. In contrast, school culture in senior high schools is more oriented toward strengthening academic competencies and preparing students for higher education. |
