Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam
mata pelajaran Ekonomi di MAN 2 Banyumas serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran
interaktif yang dapat memfasilitasi keterlibatan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan
menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan media mind mapping
berbantuan Canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian menggunakan
pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental, melibatkan 80 siswa yang dipilih
melalui purposive sampling, terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan
melalui pretest dan posttest, wawancara, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan
uji-t dan One-Way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Adanya perbedaan
signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menerapkan model Problem Based learning
dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional; (2) Adanya perbedaan signifikan kemampuan
berpikir kritis siswa antara pembelajaran dengan media mind mapping berbantuan Canva
dibandingkan dengan media konvensional.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This study was motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in Economics at
MAN 2 Banyumas and the limited use of interactive learning media that facilitate active student
engagement. This research aims to analyze the effect of Problem Based Learning and media mind
mapping model with the help of Canva on students’ critical thinking ability. The research used
quantitative approach with quasi experimental method, including 80 students chosen through
purposive sampling, consist of experiments and class control. The data was then collected through
pretests and post-tests, interviews and documentations, then analyzed with uji-t and One-way
ANOVA. The result shows that: (1) A significant difference in students’ critical thinking ability who
applied the Problem Based Learning model than those who used conventional learning model; (2)
A significant difference in students’ critical thinking ability who applied the media mind mapping
with the help of Canva rather than those who used conventional media.
