| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pragmatik yang didasarkan pada keberadaan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur dalam suatu percakapan, khususnya pada podcast YouTube Gita Wirjawan episode “Bagi dr. Tirta, Kepintaran Tidak Pernah Cukup”. Oleh karena itu, fenomena tersebut perlu dikaji agar dapat memahami unsur-unsur yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat dalam podcast tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan data berupa tuturan-tuturan yang diambil dari podcast YouTube Gita Wirjawan episode “Bagi dr. Tirta, Kepintaran Tidak Pernah Cukup”. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap, serta teknik lanjutan berupa simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC) dan teknik catat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode padan dengan teknik dasar pilah unsur penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjutan berupa hubung banding menyamakan (HBS). Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi teori. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam podcast tersebut bahwa tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif tidak hanya digunakan untuk menyampaikan gagasan, tetapi juga untuk membangun hubungan dan kedekatan dalam percakapan. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif berperan penting dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang reflektif, apresiatif, dan sejalan dengan nilai pembelajaran serta pengembangan diri.

Inggris) | This study is a pragmatic study based on the existence of the form and function of speech acts in a conversation, specifically in the YouTube podcast by Gita Wirjawan, episode "For dr. Tirta, Intelligence is Never Enough." Therefore, this phenomenon needs to be studied in order to understand the elements contained therein. This study aims to describe the form and function of expressive speech acts found in the podcast. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data in the form of utterances taken from Gita Wirjawan's YouTube podcast episode "For dr. Tirta, Intelligence Is Never Enough." The data collection techniques used were the listening method with the basic technique of tapping, as well as advanced techniques in the form of free listening and talking (SBLC) and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the matching method with the basic technique of sorting determining elements (PUP) and advanced techniques in the form of comparative connections (HBS). The validity of the data was tested through theory triangulation. The results of the analysis show that in the podcast, expressive illocutionary acts are not only used to convey ideas but also to build relationships and closeness in conversation. These findings show that the use of expressive speech acts plays an important role in creating reflective, appreciative communication that is in line with the values of learning and self-development.
