Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) Tugas Akhir Penciptaan Karya ini membahas perancangan dan pelaksanaan kampanye kehumasan berbasis event bertajuk “Dari Jeruji Besi Menjadi Inspirasi.” Kampanye ini bertujuan mengurangi stigma negatif masyarakat terhadap mantan narapidana serta mendorong pemahaman dan penerimaan sosial melalui pendekatan komunikasi yang humanis dan inklusif. Metode penciptaan karya meliputi tahapan pra-event, pelaksanaan, dan pasca-event. Kegiatan diwujudkan dalam bentuk talkshow inspiratif, pertunjukan seni dan musik, serta pameran karya narapidana dan mantan narapidana dengan melibatkan lembaga pemasyarakatan, komunitas, PAKEMAS, dan masyarakat umum. Pencipta berperan sebagai Campaign Activator yang bertanggung jawab atas pengelolaan audiens, sponsor, dan koordinasi pemangku kepentingan. Kampanye ini termasuk kategori Ideologically or Cause-Oriented Campaign karena berfokus pada perubahan cara pandang dan peningkatan kesadaran sosial. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa event mampu menjadi media komunikasi yang efektif dalam membangun interaksi positif antara mantan narapidana dan masyarakat, serta meningkatkan pemahaman audiens mengenai pentingnya dukungan sosial dalam proses reintegrasi.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This Final Project discusses the design and implementation of an event-based public relations campaign entitled "From Bars to Inspiration." This campaign aims to reduce the negative stigma of former prisoners in society and encourage social understanding and acceptance through a humanistic and inclusive communication approach. The method of creation includes pre-event, implementation, and post-event stages. Activities are realized in the form of inspirational talk shows, art and music performances, and exhibitions of works by prisoners and former prisoners by involving correctional institutions, communities, PAKEMAS, and the general public. The creator acts as a Campaign Activator responsible for audience management, sponsorship, and stakeholder coordination. This campaign is categorized as an Ideologically or Cause-Oriented Campaign because it focuses on changing perspectives and increasing social awareness. The implementation results show that the event is able to be an effective communication medium in building positive interactions between former prisoners and the community, as well as increasing audience understanding of the importance of social support in the reintegration process.
