| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Stroke merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas, mortalitas, dan kecacatan jangka panjang. Peningkatan kejadian stroke di Indonesia menuntut tersedianya data lokal yang akurat sebagai dasar perencanaan pencegahan dan penatalaksanaan stroke, khususnya di tingkat rumah sakit. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data diperoleh secara retrospektif dari rekam medis pasien stroke rawat inap di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto periode 1 Januari–31 Desember 2022. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi jenis stroke, usia, jenis kelamin, serta faktor risiko hipertensi dan diabetes melitus. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif univariat. Hasil: Sebanyak 1.607 pasien stroke rawat inap tercatat selama periode penelitian, terdiri atas stroke hemoragik sebesar 50,2% dan stroke iskemik sebesar 49,8%. Mayoritas pasien berusia ≥55 tahun (69,9%) dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki (52,6%). Faktor risiko yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah hipertensi (48,4%), diikuti oleh diabetes melitus (14,4%). Kesimpulan: Stroke hemoragik sedikit lebih banyak dibandingkan stroke iskemik pada pasien rawat inap. Usia lanjut dan hipertensi merupakan karakteristik dan faktor risiko dominan pada pasien stroke. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Stroke is one of the leading causes of morbidity, mortality, and long-term disability. The increasing incidence of stroke in Indonesia highlights the need for accurate local data to support effective stroke prevention and management strategies, particularly at the hospital level. Methods: This study employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected retrospectively from the medical records of hospitalized stroke patients at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto from January 1 to December 31, 2022. The variables analyzed included type of stroke, age, sex, and risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Data were analyzed using univariate descriptive analysis. Results: A total of 1,607 hospitalized stroke patients were recorded during the study period, consisting of 50.2% hemorrhagic stroke and 49.8% ischemic stroke. The majority of patients were aged ≥55 years (69.9%) and were male (52.6%). The most common risk factor identified was hypertension (48.4%), followed by diabetes mellitus (14.4%). Conclusion: Hemorrhagic stroke was slightly more prevalent than ischemic stroke among hospitalized patients.
