Indonesia) | Penggunaan obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas yang tidak sesuai dengan gejala dapat menimbulkan risiko bagi kesehatan masyarakat, sehingga diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat membantu pemilihan obat secara tepat sebagai upaya mendukung Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat (GeMa CerMat). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pakar rekomendasi obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas berbasis website menggunakan metode Dempster–Shafer Theory (DST) berdasarkan gejala ringan yang dialami pengguna. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang meliputi tahapan perancangan kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan sistem, dan implementasi sistem. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode blackbox testing untuk menguji fungsionalitas sistem serta confusion matrix untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pakar mampu memberikan rekomendasi obat yang sesuai dengan rekomendasi pakar pada 29 dari 30 data uji, sehingga diperoleh tingkat akurasi sebesar 96,67%. Kontribusi ilmiah dari penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan metode Dempster–Shafer dalam mengombinasikan beberapa gejala yang saling menguatkan sebagai evidensi untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi obat, sehingga tingkat keyakinan terhadap hasil rekomendasi menjadi lebih terukur. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dan ketepatan data serta bobot kepercayaan yang diberikan pakar sangat berpengaruh terhadap akurasi hasil rekomendasi sistem. Dengan demikian, sistem pakar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu konsultasi awal bagi masyarakat dalam mendukung penggunaan obat yang tepat dan rasional. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The inappropriate use of over-the-counter and limited over-the-counter medicines that do not match the experienced symptoms may pose health risks to the community. Therefore, a system is needed to assist in selecting appropriate medicines as an effort to support the Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat (GeMa CerMat). This study aims to design and implement a web-based expert system for recommending over-the-counter and limited over-the-counter medicines using the Dempster–Shafer Theory (DST) based on mild symptoms experienced by users. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of the stages of requirements planning, system design, system development, and system implementation. System testing was conducted using blackbox testing to verify system functionality and a confusion matrix to measure system accuracy. The results indicate that the expert system provided recommendations consistent with expert judgments in 29 out of 30 test cases, achieving an accuracy of 96.67%. The scientific contribution of this study lies in the application of the Dempster–Shafer method to combine multiple mutually reinforcing symptoms as evidence in generating medicine recommendations, resulting in a more measurable level of confidence in the recommendations. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the quality and accuracy of data and expert-assigned belief weights significantly affect the accuracy of the system’s recommendations. Therefore, the developed expert system can be used as an initial consultation tool to support rational and appropriate medicine use in the community. |
