| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Ujian lisan terstruktur merupakan metode penilaian yang diterapkan untuk memberikan lebih banyak informasi terkait pemahaman mahasiswa kedokteran. Tingkat kelulusan ujian lisan terstruktur di FK Unsoed masih tergolong rendah. Berdasarkan model pembelajaran 3P, nilai ujian lisan terstruktur (faktor product) dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh strategi belajar mahasiswa (faktor process), serta dipengaruhi secara tidak langsung oleh faktor individual presage, seperti gaya belajar VARK. Ketidaksesuaian antara strategi dan gaya belajar merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi capaian akademik, karena gaya belajar memengaruhi pemilihan strategi belajar yang mendukung kebiasaan belajar efektif dan capaian hasil belajar yang optimal. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada nilai ujian lisan terstruktur mahasiswa Jurusan Kedokteran Umum FK Unsoed Angkatan 2024 berdasarkan variasi gaya belajar VARK. Metode: Rancangan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 145 mahasiswa Jurusan Kedokteran Umum FK Unsoed Angkatan 2024 yang dipilih melalui total sampling. Menggunakan data sekunder berupa data gaya belajar yang diambil menggunakan kuesioner VARK berbahasa Indonesia versi 8.01 dan data nilai ujian lisan terstruktur dari Bagian Pendidikan FK Unsoed. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil: Gaya belajar dengan proporsi tertinggi adalah quadmodal VARK (32,4%). Rerata nilai ujian lisan terstruktur adalah 50,10 (D), dengan proporsi terbesar terdapat pada nilai E (40,7%), sedangkan proporsi terkecil terdapat pada nilai A (6,9%). Penelitian ini tidak signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,910 dan p = 0,918). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna nilai ujian lisan terstruktur berdasarkan variasi modalitas (p = 0,910) dan preferensi (p = 0,918) gaya belajar VARK pada mahasiswa Jurusan Kedokteran Umum FK Unsoed Angkatan 2024 |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Structured oral examinations is an assessment method used to provide more comprehensive information about medical students’ understanding. The pass rates of structured oral examinations at FK Unsoed remain relatively low. Based on the 3P learning model, structured oral examination score (product factor) is directly influenced by students’ learning strategy (process factor) and indirectly influenced by individual presage factors, such as VARK learning styles. A mismatch between learning strategies and learning styles may affect academic achievement, as learning styles guide the selection of strategies that support effective study habits and optimal learning outcomes. Objective: To investigate whether differences exist in structured oral examination scores among first-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Jenderal Soedirman University, based on variations in VARK learning styles. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 145 first-year medical students selected through total sampling. Secondary data were used, including learning style classifications obtained through the Indonesian version of the 8.01 VARK questionnaire and structured oral examination scores obtained from the Education Department of FK Unsoed. The Kruskal–Wallis test was employed for hypothesis testing. Results: The most common learning style was quadmodal VARK (32.4%). The mean structured oral examination score was 50.10 (D), with the highest proportion in grade E (40.7%) and the lowest in grade A (6.9%). This study showed no significant differences in scores based on VARK learning style variations (p = 0.910 and p = 0.918). Conclusion: There is no significant differences in structured oral examination scores based on VARK learning style modalities (p = 0.910) or learning style preferences (p = 0.918) among first-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Jenderal Soedirman University |
