Indonesia) | Penelitian observasional deskriptif prospektif ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kesesuaian dosis dan pemantauan efek samping obat (ESO) antidiabetes oral pada pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Purwokerto Selatan, berdasarkan pedoman PERKENI 2021. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa regimen didominasi oleh terapi kombinasi dua obat (55,95%) dan seluruh terapi yang diberikan telah 100% sesuai dengan dosis dan frekuensi harian PERKENI 2021. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan 27,38% pasien mengalami ESO, dengan total 74 kejadian potensial, dan efek samping yang paling banyak dilaporkan adalah gangguan muskuloskeletal (29,7%), yang dikaitkan dengan penggunaan metformin dan glimepirid. Tindak lanjut terhadap ESO yang dilaporkan hanya mencapai 56,52%, menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan dalam manajemen dan pemantauan efek samping obat meskipun kepatuhan dosis sudah sangat baik. |

Inggris) | This prospective descriptive observational study aimed to evaluate the suitability of oral antidiabetic drug (OAD) dosing and the monitoring of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients at Purwokerto Selatan Primary Health Center, based on the PERKENI 2021 guidelines. The results showed that the therapy regimen was dominated by two-drug combination therapy (55.95%), and critically, all OAD use was 100% compliant with the minimum, maximum, and daily frequency doses set by PERKENI 2021. However, 27.38% of patients reported experiencing ADRs, totaling 74 potential events, with the most frequently reported side effect being musculoskeletal disorders (29.7%), attributed to the use of metformin and glimepiride. Only 56.52% of reported ADRs were followed up, highlighting an area for improvement in ADR management and monitoring, despite the high level of adherence to dosing guidelines. |
