| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul “Dramaturgi Kehidupan Model di Lingkungan Kampus Universitas Jenderal Soedirman” bertujuan untuk mengetahui front stage dan back stage mahasiswa yang juga berprofesi sebagai model. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Purwokerto sebagai pusat kegiatan model mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu memilih informan atas dasar pertimbangan tertentu, yaitu telah menjadi model minimal 2 tahun, dan saat ini masih berstatus sebagai mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Dalam menganalisis data penelitian menggunakan metode analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian diketahui profesi sebagai model dijalani oleh mahasiwa di luar jam kuliah, walaupun terjadi benturan waktu antara kuliah dengan model, maka selain kepentingan ujian mereka lebih memilih untuk prioritas pada foto model. Kehidupan model dan mahasiswa dijalani dalam dua bentuk. Di satu sisi, beberapa mahasiswa menjalani kehidupan kampus sebagaimana mahasiswa lainnya, yaitu mencoba untuk berinterkasi tanpa ada ‘sekat’ atau pemisah bahwa dirinya adalah model. Kehidupan model dijalaninya seperti model pada umumnya, yaitu sebatas pengambilan foto, peragaan busana dan lainnya. Dua dunia ini dijalaninya secara proposional dan sesuai norma sosial sehingga front stage dan back stage berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Namun demikian pada kelompok lainnya, dunia model dijadikan sebagai ‘batu loncatan’, sehingga kehidupan model menjadi bagian gaya hidup yang membawa dirinya masuk dalam dunia baru, seperti dunia model panas, kehidupan homoseksual dan kehidupan glamor lainnya yang bercirikan negatif. Akibatnya front stage dan back stage cenderung bersifat kontradiksi. Model adalah profesi yang menjanjikan sampai saat ini, akan tetapi perlu juga ditunjang dengan kemampuan dan intelektual yang tinggi, sehingga dukungan pendidikan juga akan membantu profesi model. Proses adaptasi perlu dilakukan secara optimal, baik di front stage maupun di back stage sehingga peran yang dijalanni juga mampu maksimal. Akan tetapi kehidupan di back stage tetap diupayakan untuk sesuai dengan norma hukum dan normal sosial, sehingga tidak menimbulkan permasalahan di masa mendatang. |

Inggris) | ABSTRACT This thesis entitled "Model Life Dramaturgy at the University of General Sudirman Campus Environment" aims to determine the front stage and back stage of a student who also works as a model. This study took place in Navan Town as the center of General Sudirman University student models. The selection of informants with purposive sampling method selecting informants on the basis of certain considerations, which has become a model of at least 2 years, and is currently still a student at the University of General Sudirman. In analyzing the study data using methods of interactive data analysis. Known to the profession as a result of research undertaken by the student models outside of class hours, although the collision time between lectures to the model, then in addition to the interests of the exam they prefer to prioritize a photo model. Models and student life lived in two forms. On the one hand, some student campus life as other students, which is trying to interact without any 'bulkhead' or separator that she is a model. Life lived models like the model in general, which is limited to taking photos, fashion show and more. Two of the world lived in a proportional and appropriate social norms so that the front stage and back stage running as it should. However, in the other group, world models serve as 'stepping stones', so the model becomes a part of life that led to her entry in the new world, as the world hot model, homosexual life and other glamorous life that is characterized by a negative. As a result, the front stage and back stage tends to be a contradiction. The model is a promising profession to date, but it should also be supported with high intellectual ability and, thus education will also help support the model professional. The adaptation process should be done optimally, both in front and in back stage stage so the role is also capable of a maximum dijalanni. But life in the back stage still strived for in accordance with the normal law and social norms, so as not to cause problems in the future. |
