| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) merupakan jenis tanaman sayuran yang biasa digunakan sebagai bumbu dapur untuk melezatkan masakan. Produktivitas tanaman bawang merah dan aspek budidayanya secara semi organik dan konvensional di Kecamatan Brebes Kabupaten Brebes dibutuhkan untuk memberikan informasi dasar bagi kegiatan atau penelitian yang berorientasi pada penggalian potensi daerah Kabupaten Brebes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui produktivitas bawang merah di sentra produksi bawang merah di Kecamatan Brebes Kabupaten Brebes, mengetahui teknik budidaya bawang merah baik secara semi organik dan konvensional, mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas bawang merah di Kecamatan Brebes Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2012 di Kecamatan Brebes Kabupaten Brebes, dengan wilayah studi meliputi tiga desa yaitu Desa Krasak, Banjaranyar, dan Kalimati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas bawang merah pada ketiga desa menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata antar desa. Produktivitas pertanaman bawang merah di Kecamatan Brebes Desa Krasak secara semi organik mencapai 3,4 ton/ha dan konvensional mencapai 4,85 ton/ha, Desa Banjaranyar secara konvensional mencapai 3,5 ton/ha, dan Desa Kalimati secara konvensional mencapai 3,9 ton/ha. Faktor budidaya tanaman sangat mempengaruhi produktivitas bawang merah di kecamatan Brebes Kabupaten Brebes. Varietas bawang merah yang sering digunakan yakni Bima Brebes (Bima Curut). |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a kind of vegetable that is used only as a condiment for cooking. The productivity of shallot and the aspects of its crop production by using semi-organic and conventional technique in the District of Brebes, County Brebes is needed to give basic information for the activities or next research that is oriented to increase the potency of area in Brebes regency. The purpose of this research are to find out the productivity of shallot in the center of red onion production in the District of Brebes, Regency Brebes, and to find out the crop production of shallot in both semi-organic and conventional, and to know the factor that influence the productivity of shallot in District and Regency of Brebes. The research was done in Ferbruari up to March 2012 in the District of Brebes including three villages, namely Krasak, Banjaranyar, and Kalimati. The results showed that the productivity of shallot in the three villages had significant differences between each villages. The productivity of shallot in the Krasak village that used semi-organic technique reached 3.4 tons/ha and used conventional technique can reach 4.85 tons/ha. Meanwhile, The productivity of shallot from Banjaranyar village conventionally was up to 3.5 tons /ha. Besides, Kalimati village reached 3.9 tons/ha of shallot by using conventional technique. Technique of crop production is the most affecting factor toward the productivity of shallot in the District of Brebes, Regency Brebes. The kind of shallot that usually used is Brebes Bima (Bima Curut). |
