| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Evaluasi Penggunaan Albendazole pada Kasus Trematodiasis di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prevalensi trematodiasis, mengetahui jenis cacing trematoda, menganalisis penggunaan albendazole pada kasus trematodiasis ternak sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juli sampai 30 November 2023 di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Susukan Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 23 sampel. teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan dilanjutkan dengan uji laboratorium. Sampel feses di periksa di Laboratorium Kesehatan Ternak Tipe-B Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif menggunakan metode sedimentasi. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah prevalensi trematoda, jenis trematoda, dan keefektifan albendazole pada sapi potong. Data penelitian di analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis Chi-Square. Hasil identifikasi trematoda menunjukan bahwa terdapar 2 jenis cacing trematoda, yaitu Fasciola sp dan Paramphistomum sp. Prevalensi trematodiasis pada sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo sebelum perlakuan sebesar 73,91% dan hari ke-15 setelah perlakuan sebesar 43,37%, hari ke-30 sebesar 39,13%, dan hari ke-60 sebesar 49,94% sehingga persentase prevalensi trematodiasis di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo sebesar 48,86% dari 23 sampel. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square menunjukan hasil P>0,05 yang berarti pemberian albendazole tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kejadian trematodiasis pada sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian albendazole tidak berpengaruh terhadap kejadian trematodiasis pada sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Evaluation of Albendazole Use in Trematodiasis Cases in Jati Mulyo Cattle Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The objectives of this study were to determine the prevalence of trematodiasis, identify the types of trematode worms, and analyze the use of albendazole in trematodiasis cases in beef cattle in Jati Mulyo Cattle Breeders Group, Sumbang District. This study was conducted from July 4 to November 30, 2023, in Jati Mulyo Susukan Cattle Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The number of samples used was 23 samples. The sampling technique used in the study was convenience sampling and continued with laboratory tests. Fecal samples were examined at the Purwokerto Type-B Animal Health Laboratory, Banyumas Regency qualitatively and quantitatively using the sedimentation method. The variables observed in this study were the prevalence of trematode, the type of trematode, and the effectiveness of albendazole in beef cattle. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Chi-Square analysis. The results of trematode identification showed that there were 2 types of trematode worms, namely Fasciola sp and Paramphistomum sp. The prevalence of trematodiasis in beef cattle in the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group before treatment was 73.91% and on the 15th day after treatment was 43.37%, on the 30th day was 39.13%, and on the 60th day was 49.94% so that the percentage of trematodiasis prevalence in the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group was 48.86% of 23 samples. Data analysis using the chi-square test showed a result of P>0.05, which means that the administration of albendazole did not significantly affect the incidence of trematodiasis in beef cattle in the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The conclusion of this study is that the administration of albendazole did not affect the incidence of trematodiasis in beef cattle in the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. |
