| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kehilangan gigi masih menjadi permasalahan yang sering muncul di masyarakat terutama pada lansia. Gigi tiruan lengkap (GTL) merupakan alternatif perawatan bagi lansia dengan kehilangan gigi secara keseluruhan. Persepsi pasien tentang fungsi fonetik, estetik, dan mastikasi pada gigi tiruan lengkap dapat menjadi indikator keberhasilan perawatan yang berimplikasi dengan kepuasan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi pasien tentang fungsi fonetik, estetik, dan mastikasi dengan kepuasan lansia pengguna gigi tiruan lengkap di RSGMP Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien pengguna gigi tiruan lengkap RSGMP Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari pasien lansia pengguna GTL yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 34 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner terstruktur yang valid dan reliabel. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis hubungan variabel persepsi pasien tentang fungsi fonetik, estetik, dan mastikasi dengan kepuasan lansia pengguna gigi tiruan lengkap menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat variabel yang memiliki hubungan bermakna (p>0,05). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah persepsi pasien tentang fungsi fonetik, estetik, dan mastikasi tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kepuasan pasien pengguna gigi tiruan lengkap. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Tooth loss remains a prevalent issue, particularly among the elderly. Complete dentures serve as a common rehabilitation option for individuals with complete edentulism. Patient perceptions regarding the phonetic, aesthetic, and masticatory functions of complete dentures are important indicators of treatment success and may influence overall satisfaction. This study aimed to examine the relationship between patient perceptions of phonetic, aesthetic, and masticatory functions with satisfaction of elderly complete denture users at the Integration Clinic of RSGMP, Jenderal Soedirman University. This research employed a quantitative observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population comprised elderly complete denture users who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, selected using a total sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 34 participants. Data were collected using a structured, valid, and reliable questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The analysis of the relationship between patient’s perceptions of phonetic, aesthetic, and masticatory functions with the satisfaction of elderly complete denture users reveald no significant associations (p>0,05). This study concludes that patient’s perceptions of phonetic, aesthetic, and masticatory functions are not significantly related to the satisfaction of complete denture users. |
