| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Masalah gizi pada anak usia sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan di Indonesia, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas fisik. Siswa full day school memiliki waktu terbatas untuk bergerak sehingga berisiko mengalami gizi kurang maupun gizi lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi pada siswa SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 56 siswa berusia 10 tahun yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Aktivitas fisik diukur menggunakan kuesioner Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C), sedangkan status gizi ditentukan dengan pengukuran IMT/U berdasarkan standar WHO (Z-score). Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dan korelasi Spearman. Hasil Penelitian: Mayoritas responden memiliki status gizi normal (42,85%), sedangkan aktivitas fisik terbagi relatif seimbang antara kategori ringan (33,92%), sedang (32,14%), dan berat (33,92%). Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi (p = 0,020; ρ = -0,389). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi pada siswa SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Sekolah disarankan menyediakan kegiatan fisik terstruktur agar status gizi siswa tetap optimal. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Fisik, Status Gizi, Anak Sekolah Dasar, Full Day School |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Nutritional problems among elementary school children remain a major challenge in Indonesia, one of which is influenced by physical activity. Full day school students have limited time to engage in physical activity, which increases the risk of undernutrition and overnutrition. This study aimed to determine the relationship between physical activity and nutritional status among students at SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Methodology: This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 56 students aged 10 years, selected using purposive sampling. Physical activity was assessed using the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C), while nutritional status was measured using the Body Mass Index-for-Age (BMI/Age) based on WHO Z-scores. Data were analyzed using chi-square and Spearman correlation tests. Research Findings: The results showed that most respondents had normal nutritional status (42.85%), while physical activity was relatively balanced across light (33.92%), moderate (32.14%), and vigorous (33.92%) categories. Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between physical activity and nutritional status (p = 0.020; ρ = -0.389). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between physical activity and nutritional status among students at SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Schools are encouraged to provide structured physical activity programs to help maintain students’ optimal nutritional status.
