Judul ArtikelANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA TANI KENTANG (Solanum tuberosum L.) DI
DESA KUTABAWA KECAMATAN KARANGREJA KABUPATEN
PURBALINGGA
Break Even Point (BEP).
15%). Analisis meliputi biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C ratio, dan BEP. Biaya ratarata usahatani kentang Rp20.531.028 per luas lahan garapan, penerimaan Rp66.807.692,
dan pendapatan bersih Rp46.276.664. BEP produksi sebesar 70,42 kg, BEP penerimaan
Rp633.816,08, dan BEP harga Rp438.308,37/kg pada luas lahan rata-rata 0,12 ha. Nilai
penggunaan input produksi.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Kutabawa Village, Karangreja District, is one of the potato production centers in
Purbalingga Regency, with an average productivity of 20.07 tons/ha, which is higher than
the average productivity in Central Java Province of 17.31 tons/ha. However, productivity
is still influenced by factors such as land area, farmers’ knowledge, rainfall, labor, capital,
farm management, and the high cost of certified seed. This study aims to identify the
characteristics of potato farmers, costs, revenues, incomes, and the feasibility of potato
farming through the analysis of the R/C ratio and Break-Even Point (BEP). The research
was conducted from February to May 2025 using a survey method with 38 respondents
determined by the Slovin formula at a 15% error margin. Analyses included farm cost,
revenue, income, R/C ratio, and BEP. The average farming cost was IDR 20,531,028 per
cultivated area, with revenue of IDR 66,807,692 and net income of IDR 46,276,664. The
BEP for production was 70.42 kg, BEP for revenue was IDR 633,816.08, and BEP for price
was IDR 438,308.37/kg, with an average land area of 0.12 ha. The R/C ratio value of 3.35
(>1) indicates that potato farming is feasible and profitable. The results show that potato
farming in Kutabawa Village is not only able to cover production costs but also provides
significant profits for farmers. The sustainability of potato farming in this area has strong
potential to be further developed through improved access to quality seed and more efficient
use of production inputs.
